About Me

I've been writing since I was ten years old. That is...writing fan fiction. I still remember my first one, too. It was a horrible piece of junk filled with spelling errors, grammar errors, Mary-Sues, and a whole lot more cluttered into a block of text. Though, I had the right idea down by that age.

As I became interested in writing at that age, I began to pick up on writing more. In the progress I guess I also created a love of reading and books. Now I always carry around some kind of reading material wherever I go.

In school I am a pretty good student, who might get into English and History Honors Classes. My top three career choices are (from third to first) are: Anthropologist, Historian, and Creative Writer.

If you want to know why my stories are short, I tend to put things in lesser words, but try to be as artful as I can be. I go by the line of thinking "Don't write too much, it'll draw the reader out. But don't write too little, the reader why get the detail they need", "Show, don't tell", and "There are other ways to say 'Said'".

I am studying Japanese a lot lately even though my school doesn't offer it (I'll most likely take Italian, it's just so beautiful...). I only know random words, Katakana, and some simple hirgana but I am making progress.

I also love getting mail and IMs. I accept all requests. However, I tend not to IM people in fear of bothering them or they don't want to talk to me. XD;; Just to let you know.

I have slowed down on writing Reader-Inserts. I am sorry, I just feel silly when I type u Your Name /u and it doesn't translate itself anymore. ;
