Snow is lost now, lost in a world of pain and regret because of her choice to take a life for a life by using that candle killing Cora and saving Rumple. Her family misses her but they can't seem to reach her in the current state she is in. This is a scene I'd love to see but the way the show goes I don't think it'll ever come to pass so here it is in print.

Post-Manhattan. After the heart wrenching reunion of Neal and Emma, while still in Manhattan Emma wants to spend the day in the city with her son. But her son has other plans.

Based on the Promo for 2x14: Emma didn't know how she ended up there, in his apartment. The last thing she expected while looking for Gold's son was meeting Neal again and yet here he was. Henry's dad, her lost love and the man they were looking for.

He had to know that he made the right choice ... He had to find her again...

My timeline for this story is right after 2X11 The Outsider. This is just "family bonding" I guess. It's full of mundane family stuff maybe even some fluffy moments. I have been having a hard time coming up with things to add to my other stories so I went on a completely new tangent. Emma/Snow/James/Henry

I had a request from a guest reader to write a James and Emma story. I'm sorry but there's no fluff here, not in the least. It is however some fun conversation. I'm attempting to show how James tries to initiate a relationship with his daughter. It's tricky. I had to cheat a little and let Snow lead him into it. Emma makes the quick decision to rescue Hook from the giant. Now, not only do they have to find the rest of the crew, but they must find a way back to Storybrooke before Cora can catch them. I guess this could take place after Episode 2X03 and anywhere before 2X05. I forgot I had written this so I'm sharing it now. I just thought it would be nice to have more discussion between the mother and daughter now that things were "remembered" and they had some time on their hands. As fans we all have lingering questions... it's fun to make stuff up though. ;)
