Please, don't be afraid or shy to criticize my work. I need to know what my writing areas or problems are lacking, so that I can grow as a reader and as a writer to help me improve my writing style.

Drafting Ideas:

Be careful of making a Mary Sue or a Gary-Stu - They are characters without flaws and are 100% perfect. They don't have any real humanized traits about them, and they don't grow as a human would grow on how a human would learn from their past mistakes. How to use or fix a Mary Sue or a Gary-Stu is by adding flaws like being selfish, stubborn, or envy. Give them a personality; a purpose in life. Why do they exist? Why are they the protagonist or antagonist? Give them questions to ask themselves. Think about it: ask yourself does he or she sound like a Mary Sue or Gary Stu? If so, then work on personal traits that you have and own or watch someone else from either your or their point-of-view. Mary Sues are forgiven too easily by friends, family, and others which is probably okay sometimes, but not every single time in their life or the story.
