Hello, all! My name is Heather. I'm a twenty something year old college student struggling to get by and trying not to explode at the seams from all of the creative energy running through my body. (I do a piss poor job at it, to be quite honest.) I've been writing ever since I was a little girl; honestly, I don't remember exactly when I started writing, except I do know that my first foray into slash pairing was when I was a wee little girl at the tender age of twelve. (It was a Draco and Harry fanfiction that I thought was brilliant but reread and found to be absolutely cringe worthy.) Obviously this isn't my first time writing fanfiction, nor is this my first account on FF.net. This will, however, be the account that I post all of my Doctor Who and Torchwood centric stories up. You can blame it on my OCD nature where I have to have different accounts for certain fandoms. It's aggravating, but it doesn't push me over the edge like it would if I simply posted everything all on one account, which means that it doesn't end up triggering my anxiety. As you've noticed, I really don't have a filter. I don't consider much to be too personal, and my friends can easily vouch for that. Anyways, as I was saying, this is where I will be posting my DW/TW centric stories, particularly my Children of Time series. Original, I know. You will come to find that it is, indeed, very timey wimey. Things will possibly get really confusing, but when you're dealing with time travel, it seems like that's the only way to go about things. So here are a few notes you might want to know about the series itself: It is going to be considered AUIt is canon compliant with most things, but I do take liberties here and there to suit my needs.Every single thing that happens in each of the stories is the TARDIS' fault. Everything. Okay, not technically everything, but everything that deals with the Doctor and his companions that can be possibly good is because of the TARDIS.They will all interconnect in some way or another, but they will most likely be able to read as stand-alones until I get to the second half of the series. (Trust me, you'll know when I get to the second half of the series. It's really quite hard not to.In some of the stories, there may be various pairings, but in the end they will ultimately be: Janto, Doctor/Rose, and Martha/Mickey. Other characters may eventually have pairings happen, but they aren't planned ahead of time like these three ships are.Yes, River will be coming in to play in the story (for those of you who see Doctor/Rose and automatically think that I'll exclude River for that). No, there will not be any bashing on her as a character.The story starts off in the middle of everything and goes from there, with flashbacks to the past and flashforwards.I NEVER EVER EVER proofread any of my writing because if I did that then I'd end up scrapping everything, and I really don't want to do that. Therefore, if you catch a mistake in the writing itself, can you tell me. |
