I've been reading fanfics for a looooong time, but can't seem to bring myself to write one of my own (yet). Over the years of course I've developed some pet peeves regarding fanfics I've come across, which are:

I'm a spelling/grammar nazi. Sorry but seeing words butchered just kinda kills the flow of a story, there are TONS of beta-readers out there, so get one of them to help you.

PLAGARISM IS TERRIBLE, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And probably my BIGGEST peeve is when an author just drops a story and never updates again, talk about cliffhangers. Seen too many good stories never get completed :( So either finish it or just delete it please? It's just cruel T_T

It may seem kind of snooty but I just won't read stories that have more chapters than words (6 chapters 2,435 words). In the search thing it's always 5,000 or 10,000 words. Because that way it just feels more like a real book or story y'know?

And a lot of stories I like to read are crossover fics, usually revolving mixing the Inuyasha series

Obviously if you can't tell, I like Kagome as the heroine of the stories. The reason for that is probably because Inuyasha was the first series I ever knew of, so it just kind of stuff. Oh and I am NOT a fan of yaoi, nothing against it but yeeeeeeeeeeah... not a fan
