After a disastrous encounter with orcs, Legolas, Aragorn, and the twins take cover in a marsh. However, this is only the beginning of their troubles and all too soon one of them enters into a battle for their life.

Everything morphed into one collective reality, indicating that nothing in this weird world could actually exist. A deviant sense of fear told Connor he had died, but logic informed him that this was a dream-like state — mere projections of slivers of reality whilst he lay in a state of stasis. But were projections supposed to be this realistic?

Hank and Connor are given the task of introducing RK900 to society. First order of business: give him a better name than RK900. Hank/Connor if you squint.

Connor gets into an altercation with Reed involving some rude words about his favorite person and a window, and Hank stumbles in on Connor trying to patch himself up later. Some advice, swears, and a very confusing mood shift later, Connor gets to witness what Hank does when someone hurts his son.

Mondays are hard for many people, but for Danny, this one is probably the hardest.

Connor questions a murder suspect. The interrogation leads to unintended consequences. Excerpt: Consciousness came gradually. Connor felt disoriented, his body paralyzed. His audio processors buzzed with harsh static and monochrome white noise irritated his optical units. The emotional shock had shorted his senses in ways he had failed to calculate.
