Good day! you can call me Gen if you like or MG. About me as a person and my plans for this account: I'm very familiar with FF.Net and I've written a few fan fictions to original stories in the past and current, but never with confidence have I posted any of it on here. I'm quite frankly insecure and unsure about my projects but I would like to use this account to freely experiment with the hopes of practicing to better my writing skills and to receive feedback from others about how to better improve but also to just share stories, which I endlessly keep bottling up but I hope I can create a good habit with finding the time to take advantage of this to share with you stories I want to tell. I'm currently working as a barista so I have a pretty busy life, I also do a lot of artwork and currently picked up gardening. Writing habits: I do at times suffer from my dyslexia, I can miss quite a bit of words and sometimes grammar can confound me, I love words and have been raised by women who are more specialized in reading and raised to know proper grammar. But that never stops me for loving to read or write, it just can pose a challenge at times when under a lot of stress. I may be gone for awhile but that is due to outside things as we all are aware of as writers and readers sadly. I also love to incorporate actual experiences with somethings I had learned from, either I follow to make it more accurate or to make it more dramatic to have a more magical feel.What I'm like as a writer: If there is one thing I came to learn about myself as an amateur writer is I can definitely gravitate towards strange horror mysteries or hurt/comfort genres, I always make my characters suffer with strange ideas but will always give them an ending that will heal them and finally see that throughout those hardships they managed to win in their own. I admire Greek mythology and their story telling of characters with faults and the struggles they have to triumph from. So be prepared for some odd ideas and suffering but there will be some romance as well, since I adore romantic stories as well. All in all, this is My Garden of amateur writing to share, hopefully gain some insights from both friends and strangers. I will be making sure to keep this as a good habit of self expression and hopefully this experience will help me grow into something. For now I will do my best to have fun and I hope you have fun as well. |
