About me:

The name is Andrea. But you, my underlings, should call me Pyra. I turned 20 in April. I live in a 1bedroom shack in the middle of a corn field. I'm an okay writer, but if any of you have a problem with my stories I don't care. The fact that I actually have some good ideas should make up for that. I am very pessimistic and narcissistic. If you don't like that, I'm not apologizing, so get over it.

I live in a zoo. I have 6 cats, a grumpy old dog, a hyper little puppy

I still have NO idea what I want to do when I grow up. I tried going to college for awhile. The thing was I move around a lot and after a year of school, I lost all my credits. Yay... (note the sarcasm).

I am a very eclectic individual. My music likes range from Leonard Cohen to the Veronicas to Broadway. I have over 120 songs on my mp3 player, and I know the words to every single one of them by heart. I like all sorts of different movies as well. I'm not going to go into all my movie likes, though. Mostly b/c anyone who reads this probably won't have ever heard of them. My tv show likes range from one end of the spectrum to the other. I'm just one of those people who changes on a day to day basis.

I love to read and write, but for the most part I'm rather shy to have someone read my writings. That's why if I start a story, I'm apt to not publish it. Even if it's a good story. So when I finally do brave the wild frontier and actually start to publish, PLEASE review. And PLEASE be nice. I don't mind constructive criticism, but flat out flames are rude. The way I look at it: if you don't like it, don't read it. And don't hurt the author's feelings by saying "you really suck". I'd like to see these people publishing a story on here.

OK enough ranting. I believe I should end this on a positive note. So here, a quote from one of the aforementioned movies (10 points if you can guess what it's from):

Favorite tee shirt: One I used to have that said "I used to have superhuman powers but my therapist took them away"

Favorite animal: Platypus, because it proves that God has a sense of humor

OPINIONS

Religion: Offshoot of Christian; I believe in God and everything. I just don't see him as someone to fear. I envision him as the type to be sitting up in heaven playing poker, maybe putting back a beer or two.

Weaponry: I believe in the right to own guns. I personally don't own my own. But I do understand why someone would want one.

Life in General: I still haven't figured out the meaning of life, but when I figure it out I'll let you know.
