Damien Nathaniel Wren is a Software Developer, Photographer, and Writer working out of Phoenix, AZ. Having a number of previously published short-stories and poems, the three-time NaNoWriMo participant (and Winner!) considers writing to be a serious hobby, and has penned countless short-stories along with novels, novellas, screenplays, and radio dramas.

A deep admirer of tales penned by authors such as Jeph Loeb, Paul Dini, and Frank Miller "DNW" is also a life-long fan of The Batman, especially enjoying not only Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns", but especially "Batman: The Animated Series" which was released during the mid 1990's.

He aspires - in fact - to write a graphic novel for DC's "Detective Comics", or "Batman" title and has made that a personal goal.

Other favorite characters/series include "Darkwing Duck" - both Darkwing, and Batman appearing together in "On Dark Wings, and Dark Knights" as a sort-of "Dream Team".

On Dark Wings: The Chronicles of Quiverwing

Set 12 years after Darkwing Duck's first encounter with Taurus Bulba - and Drake's adoption of a high-spirited 9 yr old named Gosalyn Waddlemeyer.

F.O.W.L. is now a memory, and "The Fearsome Five" and their minions have long since been defeated by Darkwing. the criminal landscape of St. Canard has changed. And so has Darkwing.

Gosalyn - now 21 years of age - steps into the forefront as St. Canard's newest protector "Quiverwing". Continuing to work closely with Launchpad, and the newly dubbed "Darkwarrior Duck" Quiverwing fights alongside newcomers Deuteronomy "Dewey" Duck (now 23), and Police Lieutenant Noemi Spero against St. Canard's latest, and greatest criminal threats.
