Hi! I'm really not very good at these 'about me' things, so this is probably going to be short and sweet painful. So, I'm Mel (occasionally I go by 'Red' online, and I still can't remember how that started), I'm from England, I'm twenty, and I am in uni, a student for something in the creative industries.

When writing fanfics I normally jump to Harry Potter, the only time I'm even a bit comfortable writing other fandoms normally is when it's a crossover with HP. HP is my little safety blanket, I'll admit to that. I have a number of stories that I am working on at the moment but I have a bad habit of jumping from one idea to the other and occasionally forgetting to start the actual writing, so just bear with me on updates. I have set myself a new rule that I will only post a story when I have a few chapters ready, so I'll see to sticking to that.

As the Master of Death, Harry stopped ageing and managed to survive the end of his world. He is alone, he failed to protect any of his friends and he is in constant pain as the very world that he is on tries to kill him with every breath even as his body heals. That is until Death offers Harry a chance at a new life, all he has to do is give up his title of 'Master of Death'. Oh if only he knew just what he would be getting into when he was reborn in Panem...

This is a story that is going to have another book to it that actually goes before this one (currently named 'What a Colourful Life' which will probably change), but the other book is only covering Harry Potter, it has no mention of Glee, that will be up at some point as soon as I start actually, y'know, writing it... This is another fem!Harry story. The Wizarding War is over and all Nora wants to do is escape. She lost her big sister and everything around her seems to be a reminder of that fact. Why can't the stupid public leave her alone now? It seems to her that the only way to get some peace and maybe a bit of normal is to hide in the muggle world, oh, and being in another country is sure to help too. Please, Aunt Andy, remind her why she has to attend high school though?

Unexpected Connections - (Harry Potter Avengers/MCU) Chapter One - 1759
So, Harry Potter was not actually born a Potter, which is just what he wanted to find out in a letter from his recently departed godfather - thanks for that, Sirius! Oh, and guess what? Harry James isn't even his real full name - he'd have thought that someone would have mentioned that at some point during the past couple of years. At least the old bastard left him with a way to escape for a bit and get some training though inbetween all of the surprises. Of course, that would only lead Harry straight into yet another big shock - his biological dad is actually alive! Huh, who'd have thought it? Currently reworking bits of the plot and then I'll have to redo what I have of the first chapter.. Oh, and Harry seems to enjoy being a sarcastic little shit at the moment.

The wizards believe that the Greek Gods exist and see it as a great honour to have a demigod in the family, the problem is though, that wizards have also been known to take the wizard children of gods and.. well, use them for parts is the best way that one can put it. Because of this, being a demigod is best kept secret, at all costs. Just how will a single letter left by Lily Potter for her daughter alter the course of the wizarding world? The first book at what is looking at being a series, this one happens all before the Percy Jackson books so the demigod stuff won't be focused on as much in this book, just summer and a couple of demigod Weasley's. That will all heat up after the wizard war ends, though the timeline is altered quite a bit in the wizarding world.
