Hey, it's Laura Dawson here! Well, I'm new to this whole FanFiction world so I guess my stories won't really be read at all, but I'm guessing it will be a matter of time :) I will be writing short one-shots or alternate endings for movies I like, and I might end up writing a Hunger Game SYOT one day :D

Well, just in case you want to know, my favourite movies are:

-Titanic: I don't have words for such an EPIC movie. I've loved it since I was 12, but I kind of forgot it until I got to watch it in 3D the other day, and it was the first movie I ever cried with. I love love love it! I hate Jack's death, so I will start of with a sort of "alternate ending" fic, although I know the whole movie would be rather pointless if they both lived, but hey, I want to try :D I might also write a longer one with what would have happened if the Titanic had never sunk & a third one involving short stories based upon secondary characters, such as Molly Baker, Cora, Tommy, Mr. Andrews, Mr. Murdoch...

-The Pianist: The first time I watched it, it moved me so much. I really wanted to go kick some nazi asses, and I don't even know what got into me, but I started developing a huge interest on WWII and the Holocaust. My favourite character in the movie is Henryk, and I will write about him and Halina arriving back to Warsaw after the war ended, and I might write one based on his thoughts on the train to Treblinka.

-Love Actually: God, this movie is so adorable. I loved it from start to end, and my favourite bits are the ones involving Jamie & Aurelia, David & Natalie and Mark & Juliet, so I might write some one-shots on their lives after the movie and such :)

-Life is Beautiful: It's really one of my favourite movies. It really got to me, all of Guido's personality and his love to his wife and son, and little adorable Giosué. I will write an alternate ending in which he survives – yes, I know the movie would be pointless, but again, I just want to do it because I like happy endings better – and perhaps a one-shot with something happening to him and his family before the death camp and another one telling something happening whilst Guido and Giosué are together in the death camp, perhaps some father/son cuteness :)

-Never Let Me Go: I loved this movie, but it made me so sad at the same time. For this one, I will not write an alternate ending, but perhaps an extended ending narrating Kath's death and how she 'meets' everyone she loves in a better place.

-One Day: Again, I loved the whole movie, except for the freaking end. I would write an "alternate ending" in which Emma would have been pregnant on July 15th 2006, so she would have never ridden that bike...

And as for books, I might mention my favourites as well: The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Flipped, The Notebook and The Shadow of the Wind.

So yep, that's me for now. I guess I'll start posting some stories through next week and for now I'll just roam about in this big community and start reading some fics, just to get myself a little inspired :)
