I was born in the swamp, I'll die in the swamp

I'm still looking for the evil wizard who stole my elf ears

I chased him

I chased him so far and so fast

Right across the universe, I flew

In my rage, hunting him

I tracked him to the citadel of Gallifrey

where they threw me into the time vortex

hurtling me back to Middle Earth

where in the lonely paths of Mirkwood I found my strength

I sailed in search of my homeworld

But stumbled instead on an island

The island was a dream, a dream that haunts me still

I journeyed on through the three lands, Holodrum, Hyrule and Labrynna

Finally finding my swamp,

I'm still looking for my ears.

Just a quick explanation of that meaningless James Joyce-esque mumbo jumbo- I live by the sea, in a swamp (yes, really), I've always felt like I'm meant to be in another universe, probably some kind of elf. My main influences in life are Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda, and Doctor Who!

Stuff I like: Well, see above, but also I like Jap cars, tigers, the colour turquoise, pasta, sciencey stuff.

Stuff I hate: Being lied to, people who are hypocritical, the twilight saga, aniseed and shellfish.

Favourite characters: I'm all about Dark Link, that's why I married him! But also (LoZ): Midna, Link, Vaati, Shadow, Malon and Skull Kid. Doctor Who: 3rd Doctor, 4th Doctor, 11th Doctor, Pond, Sarah-Jane, River and Clara. LOTR: Pippin.

Stuff I'm working on:

Shot in the Dark: This is a series of about six one-shots featuring Dark! I basically had these on my laptop half written out and just wanted to do something with them!

Dark Days: Title is for now, set in a futuristic apocalyptic Republic of Hyrule in which Link is the leader of a band of survivors looking to wipe out a virus that has decimated the land whilst also caring for his young son, Tael. His wife, Zelda, an eminent scientist has been missing for some time and Link begins to despair of her. In his darkest hour two mercenaries arrive with potentially life changing information on Zelda's fate.

In My Pocket: Something light-hearted and humorous starring everyone's favourite wind mage. Vaati's situation goes from bad to worse when he finds himself hexed back to Picori size and forced to seek help from the last person he wants to see; my OC Suvi. (Basically the dealio there is that I had an idea to write a oneshot with these two, in which they have a huge argument, but before I had the chance to even start it, I thought of a sequel, then I decided I liked the sequel better and it was more tempting to write since in my mind these two already had bad blood) There's some VaatixZelda fluff, but don't worry, there's none between Vaati and Suvi, although there might be some shameless flirting.

Planned work:

Untitled: My Dark Link fluff, don't know if I'll ever post this. If I do I'll do it very very carefully, but I'm still working the kinks out of the plot, which started off as quite basic but has grown quite huge. As I write I feel like I'm dwelling more on the plot line than on the characters. It features an OC which I originally had in mind for another story that never went past the idea stage but I'm still developing her as well. I'm writing this for me so if I do get it done I might consider posting it. It's already got several chapters without being even halfway through and I've got half a mind to rewrite several of them, at least in part.

Unleashed: Another Vaati story in which he has lost all his power but still plans on world domination etc etc, so he must borrow magic from the sea witch who he 'unleashes' (see what I did there) on the world in exchange, causing more devastation and destruction than he actually had in mind! Will be totally devoid of fluff and involve a very difficult choice in the end! This one is way off yet cos I haven't written down a word of it!
