Hello there, well my name is Debbie and I'm 16, and I will be a junior next year. I would love to be a writer someday, or maybe a journalist, but I also want to be a teacher, preferably a high school english teacher. I love writing, both poetry and short stories. Though my first fanfic on here is pretty light natured and not at all serious, I really feel in my zone with darker things, like thrillers and horror. I get this from always having read Stephen King and Anne Rice growing up, and I absolutely love reading Edgar Allen Poe, like the Raven, the Pit and the Pendulum, and the Fall of the House of Usher being my favorites. I love vampire stories, as well as werewolves, but I liked it alot better before they got so popular, like Dracula, not Edward Cullen. Please don't hate me for that, but I'm just not a twilight fan too much. I do happen to be a huge Harry Potter fan though, that's pretty much my childhood there, I've loved it ever since I saw it in theatres when I was six with my parents.

So, more of the things that make me who I am... well a huge influence in my life would be color guard. For those of you who are all "wtf is that?" which I know alot of you are, because not all marching bands have them, we are a team who performs with the instrument players during half time shows at football games, and we use various forms of flags(five, six, and seven foot poles with flags, double hand flags, single hand flags, wings) to perform routines that go with the show's music. In fact, if youhave no idea what it is, look it up sometime because it looks really awesome. And let me tell you, it's a huge adrenaline rush, and it's something that I really love. I hope to do it in college as well.

There are many things I like, that add to my personality. Like musicals, I absolutely love musicals, like Across the Universe, Grease, Hairspray, Sweeney Todd,and Rocky Horror Picture Show. And movies by Tim Burton, like Nightmare Before Christmas, the Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, and Coraline. I also love movies by Hayao Miyazaki such as,Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, and Castle in the Sky being some of my favorites.

So as for anime, my favorites are Ouran High School Host Club, Naruto, Fruits Basket, and Inuyasha, and I plan on writing stories for each of these. So, enough about me, I hope you enjoy my writing -Debbie

So, I won't be making any updates for about a month on Hunted. I already have about a third of the next chapter typed out, well the rough draft anyways, so I'll get to it once I have free time. You see, I'm a band nerd - haha yeah, sad I know. But hey, I'm color guard. I can't play a single wood wind or brass instrument, though I wish I could play the snare drum ;D- and so that means that I get to go to band camp for two weeks. Basically that means I'll be outside marching and spinning a six foot flag out in 100 degree weather for 8 hours a day. Which is really going to suck seeing as I've spent my summer so far practically being nocturnal, lol.

Then after camp I have a week until school. That week is going to be spent picking up my schedule, which I know will be wrong, purchasing a locker and parking pass, getting school stuff. So, I really won't have time for writing. Once school starts I'll give myself a week to get used to having a schedule again, because on top of school we have band practice every day after school for two hours. Band takes up a lot of my life for about three months, so I doubt you'll see weekly updates from me for awhile.

Now, if anyone is wondering about my other story, Let's Make A Bet, uh... I dunno people. It'll happen, over a long period of time. It's really not my top priority as far as writing goes, and I'm not really liking writing it. In fact, don't be suprised if I delete it. Even though I hate authors who do that! God, I'm such a hypocrite. -sigh-
