![]() Author has written 1 story for Hunger Games. I am a twenty one year old male wannabe author slowly slowly slowly working my way through some original work but I don't intend to be publishing them for a long while (if ever) so in the meantime I think I'd like to get back into some harmless fanfiction amidst my degree. (Bad idea? Probably) So without further ado: Basic Info: My name is Thomas I am 21 Years Old I am Male I live in Cambridge, England I am homosexual PM me if you want to chat about anything. I would honestly LOVE to get some writing friends again IMPORTANT CHEMICAL INDUCTION UPDATE I HAVE NOT forgotten this story. Do not worry or threat although I am sure most of my followers are gone by now. My laptop has had real issues for the past few months and it is very rare that I can actually do any writing on it without it lagging behind about two sentences at a time. I have gotten about half way through the next chapter on my tablet but I hate writing on it so I am just waiting on one of my techie friends to come over to investigate it. I will get an update sorted soon! My Fandoms: (That I may write about) Hunger Games: This really broke me out into the fanfiction world and I love the challenge of doing SYOT stories. Though I might be slow on the updates at times, it's a really interesting fandom to be involved in and I am really enjoying my work on Chemical Induction so far, even if I hate Reapings... Power Rangers: Let me explain, no judging. I grew up on these shows and the whole good vs evil thing is really fun. I don't follow this fandom as such, but I have done a few little writing projects creating my own teams of Rangers and all of their backstories and stuff, but setting it a little less for kids and a bit more realistic. I haven't got far with any of them, but I would be REALLY up for trying an author colab project on this. Message me to chat further. Dragon Age: I can't tell you how many short drabbles I have all dating back to the battle of Ostagar from various different perspectives. Again, nothing lengthy but this is such a fun and interesting world. If we see a Dragon Age Four (And it isn't the let down Mass Effect 4 was) I may begin writing some of this stuff once again. My SYOT Tributes District Six Male: Diesel Revv https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12248500/3/Daylight-s-End-The-138th-Hunger-Games District Eight Male: Tweed Singer https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12262921/4/SYOT-Everything-Feared-150th-Hunger-Games SYOT submission guidelines Just a short guideline on how to write a strong tribute (in my eyes): Be creative. Never be afraid to submit someone because you think that I might not like them. I want Homosexual tributes, I want tributes who have resorted to prostitution, I want Career tributes who are ridiculously dumb... I like things that interest me. What I don't want to see is tributes who are ridiculously perfect, flawless and amazing; not only is it hard to write, it is boring to read. If your tribute makes me think 'Wow, why didn't I think of that' you're in! Think about the District. Nothing irks me more than when I am reading a tribute and they are named something that just doesn't fit. Try and find something that relates to your tribute's District. Luxury, Masonry, Electronics, Fishing, Power, Transport, Lumber, Textiles, Grain, Livestock, Agriculture and Coal. Think outside the box and try to capture something. Also: often Panem names, particularly District Two and the Capitol, use Roman and Greek inspired names. If in doubt, add the odd 'Y' in there to make it sound more Panemic... Do a little research. Before you submit your tribute who will use a 'dagger' in the games, try and find something specific. Most weapons submitted are colloquial terms for a broad area of weaponry. A tribute using an Estoc Rapier compared to a Flamberge or a Chinese Dao would be vastly different, however they could all be classed as a 'Sword'. Just spend five minutes on wikipedia and find out what you want them to have. Remember Panem. Thinking about the world that Panem is, is helpful, obviously. I am more than happy to have the majority of my tributes as older, as they are the most likely to be picked. I will also be unlikely to accept tributes who are outlying volunteers without a damn good reason. Also, as far as I am aware from the information available to us, Career tributes are hand-picked by the trainers when they are the best at the academy in their district, which is presumably the equivalent of volunteering, and there wouldn't be reaped tributes. We don't have much information about the Career procedures, but I will do my best to capture something that seems to fit. Prologue. I wrote it as an introduction, but I have fed you a little information. People who reference the prologue in your tributes cleverly will be receiving extra points. Review. As we progress into the games, I will be doing some form of 'sponsors' system that will be revolve around reviews, but until then, I can only recommend that you review as we go. Not only will it tell me who is reading the story, but your feedback will help me improve my writing as we go. If you never review and you submitted, then I will assume you aren't reading my story and your tribute will possibly receive less attention. If you would prefer to contact me in a PM, please do, I always love to discuss things and chat with people. Also, even if you don't have a tribute, please review and/or PM me. I'm always looking for people to Beta my work and if you are loyal without having a tribute in the games, I will definitely consider you for when I write up my next ones.District One: Luxury: Population 24,315 Female: Giada Beauchamp- 18 DamBaudelaires Male: Narce Valentine- 18 District7axemurder District Two: Masonry: Population 231,254 Female: Attica Thymscar- 17 One True Victor Male: Quirinius Crayton- 18 Josephm611 District Three: Electronics: Population 195,329 Female: Ashni Ayres- 15 Taylor1103 Male: Kinnick Holtz- 16 AKLNxStories District Four: Fishing: Population 111,453 Female: Koral Shelly- 17 Misfit-right-in Male: WolfGang Schwarz- 18 Galactic Coach District Five: Power: Population 134,345 Female: Gwynyth Wattson- 17 LiveFreeOrDie Male: Brites Steinla- 16 later . glader District Six: Transport: Population 784,453 Female: Lowelle Sable- 17 LordShiro Male: Padget Geare- 17 Goldie031 District Seven: Lumber: Population 26,354 Female: Juniper Alameda- 18 TheDancerSG Male: Javor Acton- 18 Josephm611 District Eight: Textiles: 122,134 Female: Eloise Falcon- 17 Atherva Male: Stark Conwell- 17 OneTrueVictor District Nine: Grain: Population 15,346 Female: Ryana Ruiz- 14 AmericanPi Male: Ceres Syth- 16 Maveriqua District Ten: Livestock: Population 19,234 Female: Doe Decem- 16 roses burning Male: Haidyn Rivendell- 18 Goldenmoonhuntress District Eleven: Agriculture: Population 138,546 Female: Chrysanta Bloomtown- 16 Skyheart003 Male: Saffron Stride- 16 ThePocketwatchRipper District Twelve: Coal: Population 7,935 Female: Celine Dust-18 Nordic Nonsense Male: Splice Wellwind- 16 HoppsHungerfan |
