![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Welcome to my little corner of heaven! I hope your stay is comfortable. My name is (brace yourself) Annalise. Gag. The only name I allow anyone to call me is Anna. My grandmother who lives in Florida and visits once every decade calls me Ida. That is her sister's name (she's a little out of it). Joy. I look like my great-aunt. I am extremely obsessive-compulsive when it comes to certain things. When I play card games, my hand is organized first by color, then by suit, then by number. When I play dominoes, my train is perfectly aligned. When I write something, I can guarantee there are zero spelling mistakes in it, yet I check sixteen times anyway. However, my room is insanely messy, or so my mom says. I argue that I can always find everything, though, which I can. There is a hitherto unforeseen method to the madness. Only I can dissect the many layers of crap that cover my room. I bet if I tried hard enough, I'd find that damn Britney Spears CD I listened to in second grade. In fact, even though I am not in my room, I can tell you it is between Mandy Moore and Christina Aguilera in a shoebox in the back of my dresser cabinet. Yes, I have a somewhat scary photographic memory. If you read me a sentence from, say, a Harry Potter book, I can tell you where on the page it was from, and describe events both before it, after it, and probably recite the approximation of the sentence right after it. I have sent several people running and screaming after doing what I just described. Meh. So I'm freaky. A list of quotes that Anna said today that led a newly-acquired friend of mine to come to the conclusion that I am quite blunt: Anna: Did you know there's a Cirque du Soleil show called Zumanity that's R-rated? Emily (newly-acquired friend): Really? Anna: Yeah. It's about sex. Kathleen (friend of five years who introduced me to newly-acquired friend): Oh my God, I hate this book. Anna: Oh my God, I love that book! Emily: Jade Green? What's that about? Anna: It's about this dead girl's hand. And the living girl who falls in love with a hot guy. And her uncle tries to rape her, and then he tries to kill her 'cuz she won't have sex with him. Kathleen (holding Pendragon: Rivers of Zadaa): This book is good. Emily: (grabs book and opens up end) I read some of it...how does it end? Anna: Pendragon and Loor are talking and they're all in love but they're not gonna get together, dumbasses, 'cuz the whole world is dying or some shit like that. Kathleen: (reading Pendragon: The Merchant of Death and comes across funny line including Pamela Anderson) Who's Pamela Anderson? Emily: You don't know who Pamela Anderson is? Anna: She's this famous bitch with blonde hair and really big fake boobs. Yes. I did say all that in one day. I have roamed far and wide through FanFiction.net, and my favorite book/movie/show/manga to read about is Harry Potter. I also love Fruits Basket, Bartimaeus Trilogy, and the Artemis Fowl series fanfics. I tolerate Harvest Moon, Lost, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I also have a passionate hatred for badly written fanfiction. It has, on multiple occasions, completely ruined my love of characters. Recently, normal behavior for me includes locking myself in my bedroom, armed with a notebook and pencil while listening to the Plain White T's CD over...and over...and over... It's becoming a major part of my lifestyle. I'd love to know what my family members think I'm doing in here. My favorite Harry Potter couples: ~ Harry/Ginny ~ Ron/Hermione ~ Draco/OC (in which Draco is not evil, only arrogant and hot) ~ Bill/Fleur ~ James/Lily (by far my favorite couple) ~ WELL-WRITTEN Hermione/Draco My favorite Fruits Basket couples: ~ Yuki/Kyo (only for fun fanfics, if this happened in the real manga, I'd be devastated!) ~ Kyo/Tohru (I HATE Yuki/Tohru) ~ Arisa/Kyo ~ Arisa/Yuki ~ Hiro/Kisa ~ Shigure/Akito (Shigure can really be written well with any character) ~ Mayu/Hatori ~ Mayu/Shigure What I'm attempting to try and work on maybe right now hopefully: ~ A songfic series of JamesxLily oneshots to the song "Hey There Delilah" by the Plain White T's ~ Something else to another Plain White T's song (just got their CD, EXTREMELY inspiring) maybe "Gimme a Chance" for Ron/Hermione, or James/Lily and a song for any couple, really, is "Write You a Song". Plus, there's "Tearin' Us Apart" (in which the guy cheats on his girlfriend with another woman who he's in love with) and that could be used for any couple (make up some annoying character for the girlfriend, boom! easy!). ~ A MWPP era story about Remus and Tonks, a sort of "fling" they have while at school. The one I'm probably most excited about, I've sketched out a main plot for most of the chapters. There's also JamesxLily (I just can't avoid writing about them!) and a SiriusxOC. I love OC's, you can make them anything you want, and there's no potential for ruining an innocent reader's vision of a character by sticking them with some lame characteristic. For this one (I'm telling you, I'm obsessed. This damn thing better be perfect when I'm done, or fear my wrath.) there are LOADS of chapters (for a more accurate number, try forty-three. It's a whole file on my computer with 43 Word documents. It's actually really scarily organized, though. Ya know, OCD shining through.). |
