I cut my teeth in the fic-writers world about 4 years ago, writing predominantly Buffy/Faith femslash for BtVS. Later I dabbled a little in Kaylee/River from Firefly, and some Hermione/Ginny Harry Potter fics. I also write a small amount of original fiction. Despite how long ago I started writing, I've not yet completed any of the very few series I've started.

My preferred pairings/ships (in no particular order, because I'm indecisive) are:

This list will, no doubt, eventually get to be really, REALLY long.

I'm also a fan of well-written crossovers, if I'm familiar with both sources, and RPF (real person fic), which not a lot of people seem to be into. If anyone can point me in the direction of good RPF femslash site or fic, I would be forever grateful.
