AU: Set in a fictional 18th century Europe. At age 10, Santana Lopez, born into the wealthy and influential Lopez family, comes to acquire a peasant girl by the name of Brittany. And despite class differences, Santana falls in love with her.

Santana Lopez arrives as a new teacher at William McKinley High where cheerleader Brittany Pierce is in her senior year. I know this a crappy summary but the story is most definitely better, really. Brittana love story.

Brittany is perpetually cast as the dumb blonde, but the reasons behind her demeanor are more complex than that. She looks back on her childhood, her relationship with Santana, and the life-altering effects the decisions of her youth had on her future.

Puck writes his own original song to try and get Santana to smile again and Brittany and Santana are trying to get past the hallway confession as friends, while the group prepares for Regionals.

I care that Brittany is in love with Santana in a way that maybe Santana may never be able to reciprocate and they will continue to do this stupid dance around each other. I care that I care about all of this stuff because I shouldn't. I'm a teenager and I am supposed to be selfish and only worry about myself. I care so much that at the end of the day I'm too tired to care...

Brittany wants to watch a scary movie with Santana. Santana is a big baby when it comes to horror movies, and Brittany is unable to differentiate between fiction and reality.

AU in which everything Brittany has told us is true. A series of one-shots and short stories revolving around Brittany, with appearances from other characters. The duck was in the hat. Her cat is reading her diary. Dolphins are just gay sharks.

Once love is lost, can it be regained? For Santana, this is a question she must ask herself as she learns how to fall in love with Brittany a second time.
