"I refuse to go near that Harry Potter stuff. It's for kids. I've got Lord of the Rings to enjoy." And then my mom and I saw the preview for Prisoner of Azkaban about six times in the movie theaters while waiting to see The Two Towers, and it was over. Morbid curiosity led me to try to figure out why anyone want to read Lord Voldemort/Harry Potter or Tom Marvolo Riddle/Harry Potter. Two authors and two rather long stories later, the snake was out of the box, and a new shipper was born.

General: I haven't quite decided what I want to be when I grow up. I've got a general Associates of Letters and Science that is gathering dust while I figure that out. Oboist is still haunting the back of my thoughts. Something pharmacy or lab techniciam could also be in the future. We shall see. Meanwhile, I continue to try to find the nerve to get the stories and plot bunnies from my head to the keyboard. I have an ongoing suspicion I couldn't possibly be as good as what I've read here. XD
