Erm...hi?

I mostly joined fanfiction so as to show appreciation for mellowenglishgal (who is awesome btw and so is PlanA - check them outttt)...

If I get unbelievably bored then I may in fact decide to grace my fanfiction with a story or two. It will most likely be dramione simply because .. I'm a Harry Potter geek, who is slightly in love with Tom Felton and would like to think of herself as Hermione .. ;-). Soz and all that. Alternatively it will be bella/edward, for the same reason but replace 'Tom Felton' with 'Robert Pattinson' and 'Hermione' with 'Bella'. You get the point...

There may be mature content. So long as I can make it seem normal, and so long as it won't totally disturb all my friends who have fanfiction. I wouldn't want them to think I was disturbed or anything .. HA!

Errm, I guess you should know the basic shiz about me huh?

I'm 19, oh and a girl .. did you not know that?! and I live in the South of this wonderful place called Angleterre. Except when I'm at uni when I live somewhere in the middle (although, being Southern, I am fairly convinced it's actually the North) in Warwick Uni, which, let's face it, is in Coventry - but who wants to say they live in Coventry?! (NB: To anyone from Cov, I love Cov .. ish). I do this crazily stupid degree of German and English Lit too, who does that?! Apparently only 4 people including me. :)

You should also probably know, that I can't write stories. At all! So please be nice with the R&R.

I have a slight obsession with Shakespeare. This has nothing to do with David Tennant playing a rather lovely Hamlet at the RSC this year. Nothing at all.

Other favourite authors include: Ian McEwan, Helen Fielding, Jane Austen, Louise Rennison, Janet Evanovich, Freya North (for smut :P shhh), JK Rowling, although her actual writing skill is limited - lol, Hanif Kureishi, John Milton, Jack Kerouac and the beat people :), William Blake, any romantic poets in general and F Scott Fitzgerald.

Incidentally authors I don't like include: Homer, Virgil, any other stupid ancient epic poets, Gayatri Spivak, Jacques Derrida, any other critics who like to use pointlessly long words just to confuse people, and finally Colin MacInnes because Absolute Beginners is a truly, truly shockingly bad book.

My favourite book of all time is a draw between Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

I have an addiction to Cosmo and Glamour.

I have a pink Botanic filofax. It's the most amazing thing ever. Fact.

Bridget Jones is my actual idol. Along with Audrey Hepburn.

On TV I tend to watch an excess of comedy, teenage angsty drama shows, reality tv and documentaries.

I like music a lot. Favourites include Florence and the Machine, Owl City, Lady Gaga, Bob Dylan, The Smiths, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Blink-182, All Time Low, ABBA, Johnny Cash, Jamie T, Jay Z and The Eels. And pretty much everything else on the planet.

Mr Brightside, whilst horrifically overplayed, never fails to get me dancing/singing horrifically out of tune, and the same goes for Don't Stop Believing. They will always be classics.

My current favourite song to play over and over and over is Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet. Simply awesome.

I pride myself on the fact that a man on the train once told my friend and I that we should write down everything we do and publish it as a book-diary-thing, because apparently our lives are just that interesting/hilarious. He was very old and strange, but if I get bored and poor in the future it may be a plan - ha! Although would take a lot of editing to be publish-able...

My favourite films are Bridget Jones, Sex and the City, The Notebook etc. Chick flicks rule all.

I used to think I would be Charlotte in SATC but have since realised I am Miranda through and through (without the occasionally questionable dress sense and desperate need to work all the time). Now I just need to find my Steve. :)

I have the biggest obsession with How I Met Your Mother known to man. I think the characters are real, I want Barney so bad (when I found out Neil Patrick Harris was gay a tiny part of me died) and I quote it in real life. It is, quite simply, legen-wait for it-dary!

And that's about all you need to know.

kthnxbye.
