Alex returns to Brecon Beacons battered but never broken. He meets people old and new who help him heal old wounds. A common plot but I am trying to put some substance in it. And hey they became overdone for a reason.

Alex can't go back, he becomes a spy. This time it'll be different. Only, they get sick of him. He works too hard and goes through missions too quickly. Making an excuse to get him off their backs, they send him back to Brecon Beacons. Maybe Alex will get what he wanted, just in a different way. Literally what the title says. Another Alex goes back to BB fic. I think it's classic.

Summary- Alex Rider has left the U.S. after the pleasures died in a "freak accident". Alex Rider is now Alex Daniels and is enlisted in the SAS with a new unit (X-unit) with the occasional visit from k-unit including Ben.
