I'm 19, I'm an aspiring filmmaker, a writer, an amateur philosopher, and a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, westerns, noir and dark comedies.

I detest most popular trends within Hollywood, particularly the rise of the pseudo-indie. I think there needs to be another new wave movement in cinema, led by young directors and writers.I hope to be one of the people who helps get such a movement started.

My favorite filmmakers include Martin Scorsese, Akira Kurosawa, Sergio Leone, Terry Gilliam, Jacques Tati, David Lynch, David Cronenberg, Stanley Kubrick, and Paul Thomas Anderson

Favorite movies (in no order): Brazil, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Seven Samurai, Dr. Strangelove, Do the Right Thing, Raging Bull, Chunking Express, The Big Lebowski, Apocalypse Now, Citizen Kane, Goodfellas, A Boy and His Dog, Eraserhead, Videodrome, Mean Streets, Blue Velvet, American History X, Mad Max and The Road Warrior, Eastern Promises and A Clockwork Orange.

Favorite shows: The Wire, The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Shield, Fawlty Towers, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Extras, Sons of Anarchy.

Hobbies and interests include: film, screenwriting, fanfic writing, directing, anarchist philosophy, classical liberalism, classical conservatism, 19th century socialism (socialism before and during Marx), the Austrian School of Economics, The French Liberal School of Economics, mutualist economics, paleolibertarianism, voluntaryism, and individualism.

My favorite philosophers are Benjamin Tucker, Max Stirner, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Murray Rothbard, Voltairine de Cleyre, and Gustave de Molinari.
