I don't exactly know when I started to write. Suffice to say I was young, but I didn't care, and I kept at it, which I'm glad I did. It's proven to be one of those things that I can turn to at any point in my life, no matter what I'm feeling, and still pick up threads of what I was trying to say. I've only been writing seriously for a few months now, however, and I'm still sort of adjusting to that. xD Though I absolutely love constructive criticism, please don't be mean. I'm a big girl, but that doesn't mean I'm not human. =)

I will not have anything overly-explicit in my stories. In my opinion, what's left unsaid is almost as important as what you do say. I'm also a God-fearin' Lutheran. Please, I will not go around harshly judging your work or ideals, so please don't religion hate. I won't if you won't, it's that simple - so let's be civil and nonjudgemental, people. You are allowed to have an opinion - so am I. We can agree to disagree, can't we?

I love my movies. Currently, I'm obsessed with my Netflix account. Since I've led a pretty sheltered life so far, I've been watching pretty basic movies. I watch a lot of TV, too - favorite shows include NCIS, Criminal Minds, That 70's Show, Star Trek: TOS and anything Monty Python. I like to make graphics (see the icon) - I might occasionally post some stuff having to do with my stories as well. I listen to (currently): My Chemical Romance, Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Fall Out Boy, Coldplay, The Beatles, The Who, and Queen. I like the type of grunge/rock Shinedown and Three Days Grace show, and the hyperactive alternative sound of MCR and FOB. (Haha, see what I did there?) Plus, I like my classic rock. Best phase of my life: my Woodstock phase. I'll read pretty much anything (save the Twilight saga) and I absolutely love the works of Poe, J. K. Rowling, Robert Louis Stevenson, Tamora Pierce, Markus Zusak, Charles Dickens, and of course the great Will Shakespeare. I'm always willing to branch out, so suggestions would be appreciated (as long as you don't say 'Twilight'.)
