In the deep midwinter Anne and Gilbert made an oath to each other, by the following summer they will break all the rules. This is a new sequel to Anotherlea which continues the story from Gilbert's point of view.

"Two months of Green Gables and dew-wet, spicy ferns ankle-deep along the brook and lazy, dappling shadows in Lover's Lane and wild strawberries in Mr. Bell's pasture and the dark loveliness of firs in the Haunted Wood!" Anne and Gilbert's first summer as an engaged couple merits only a sentence in AoWP (ch.17). Here's how those two unrecorded months may have panned out.

In this modern AU, a present day Anne begins to experience very realistic dreams of incidences in another life nearly a century and a half before. Is it her imagination or a remembered reality? Is she tied to the past life of her ancestor and namesake Anne Shirley? Does love carry on through the ages? Content Warning: past lives, death/rebirth, souls, spirituality.

Gilbert and Anne choose to keep their engagement a secret for a little while, this is the story of their secret delight. Slightest AU (mostly canon) where they get engaged mid August rather then the beginning of September for the sake of the story.

Golden Days is a collection of episodes that I imagine happened between the pages of Anne of Avonlea. Anne and Gil's deepening friendship had to have been a pretty amazing thing, and I always felt they deserved more page time! These are stand-alone chapters, and are not in chronological order. I am adding to these gradually, so you never know when one will pop up!

This is a short story based on what it would have taken to get Shore of Dreams to not happen- an AU from my Au that gets it all back to Canon while Gilbert has typhoid! A little "What If" that tickled me greatly.

After the death of Marilla, a broken Anne finds herself as the teacher at Four Winds, needing a new beginning. Gilbert has been the town's doctor since the death of his uncle, and finds himself now confronting his past and an Anne barely recognisable as the girl he once loved. Old feelings begin to resurface and the two of them must unravel the grief of the past to start again.

AU story that begins at the very end of Anne of Avonlea and imagines what might have happened if Anne had realized, at least in part, her feelings for Gilbert before they left for Redmond.

When Gilbert Blythe discovers Anne Shirley is also going to Redmond College he feels like the luckiest man in the world. His life seems charmed during those first years at Redmond. Until his world comes crashing down when he proposes and Gilbert discovers the girl he's been in love with for half his life does not love him back. This follows Anne of the Island from Gilbert's POV.

Becoming herself is really not something she ever thought she would have any problems with... who knew finding ones self could be so troublesome?

When Tomorrow Comes is the sequel to my AU, One More Day With You. It follows Anne and Gilbert after their engagement, until the summer after the two of them graduate. With prizes yet to be won and dreams to explore, Anne and Gilbert work together to prepare for whatever awaits them around the next bend in the road.

This is an AU story for Anne of the Island…. What if Gilbert never proposed in the Patty's Place orchard? How would things have unfolded when Gilbert and Anne are still very much friends when Anne meets Roy Gardner? What happens when Anne has both Gilbert and Roy vying for her affection?
