Hello! Greetings!

This is the joint account of two lovely partnered ladies who have never written any fanfiction before. Both of us are in our early college years, and both of us have a smattering of varied interests. We both enjoy anime, fantasy, sci-fi, cartoons, costume design, video games, comics, and crafts. We're essentially just really big kids.

For one of us (L), it's been a long long time since any fanfiction or fan community has been of any increadible interest, beyond lazily consuming fan-art and dumb headcanon recreation. As of barely a couple months ago, the RWBY fandom and it's literal explosion has rekindled a (slightly embarrassing) flame to read, write and engage in fan communities. It's been so long. It's been since middleschool. There have been many life changes and lessons learned and incredible experiences that have shaped my growth. Coming back to fan fiction after so many years makes me begrudgingly excited, since it was in the beginning a juvenile exploitative venture at the time. I'm still coming to terms with writing this... this type of media. But of course, if I want to read the type of fanfic I keep looking for, I might as well just write it myself! For the other one of us (K), writing is a hobby inside and outside of fanfiction. It's of course been a very long time since I've written fanfiction, even then I was far too shy to post anything online and simply shared it amongst my friends. I love to write though and as with the other on this account RWBY has become a rather large interest lately. I'm hoping to take my training from traditional story telling, my own story writing, and even all the papers I've written in college and apply it to the more stress relieving and fun past time of writing fanfiction. Although my interests range over a vast area I don't think much non RWBY will come out of me, at least for the time being. Other things about me:

We live in the Pacific North West of the USA, living between and across Seattle and Portland. Some day we dream of owning a house and a really big garden.
