For the uninitiated who may have arrived here by accident via an 'author follower' notification or some such thing, the TV show "Janet King" is an Australian law/crime/ drama series (a spin-off from "Crownies"). If you have not seen it yet, I recommend that you do. Janet is a well-respected senior prosecutor as well as a gorgeous lesbian.

What started off as a Bernie/Serena one-shot that sort of spilled itself out on the page after reading a comment on Tumblr. has now started to develop into something more thanks to a review! Set in/after 'Indefensible'. Mild spoilers for this episode if you haven't watched it.

Bernie Wolfe and Serena Campbell are in love, but though their love is simple, life has a habit of making things a lot more difficult than they need to be.

I love the story line of Bernie and Serena in Holby City but it's moving at a glacial pace. This is my attempt to speed things up a little. It is a twist on the episode, Brave New World.

My take on the end of S18E44 'Indefensible', picks up right where the episode leaves off. Hopefully it will fill the Olympic #Berena gap for a few minutes.

An AU set on the birthday weekend. How did it come to this? What would have provoked Kate to lash out like that? Why was it so hard for Caroline to book a double room? It made me ponder what the back story could be...and...how would I have resolved the weekend?

Two years after Kate's death her ghost returns to help Caroline move on. As you can imagine, much much angst included.

Sally Wainwright may have chosen to write-off the wonderful coupling of Kate and Caroline but I certainly haven't.

Kate McKenzie has got her dream job at Sulgrave Heath, the oldest and poshest boarding school in Yorkshire. She's got her dream flat, too, but there's only one problem - the intimidating headmistress lives next door. But she begins to realize that the woman next door isn't exactly what she seems...and that her discovery could have consequences both personal and professional.

A couple of imagined vignettes that might've happened before the reunion of S2, Ep6 and contributed to Kate deciding to come back and give Caroline one last chance.

I felt like writing a story based on a good old fanfic cliche, so this is Caroline and Kate accidentally forced to share a bed. You, um, probably shouldn't read this at work. My third story for Mcelliot.
