Hello, hello, and one more time for the people in the back: hello!

The name’s write-0r-n0t (literally every single variation of that username was, apparently, taken, so I had to spell it like I’ve never seen the English alphabet) and I am indeed new ‘round here, so . . . Be gentle with me. (But not too gentle, I can take a hit.)

In case you couldn’t already tell, I am awkward even in written introductions, so I’ll spare y’all the secondhand embarrassment and get right to the point:

Stuff about me:

•I’m twenty, bout to be 21, female, and as sarcastic as they come

•I have an original work in progress (it’s MONSTROUS, guys, like I don’t even know how it got so long). I hope to be a pro writer one day, but circumstances, ya know?

•I work, eat, write, game and sleep, in that order. Every day. Five days a week. Fabulous, I know.

My story/stories

Write now (see what I did there? Hehe), I only have one story up, and like it says in the summary, it’s just a random little bit I came up with on the spot. I do have a Legend of Zelda fic in the works, but I’ll see about posting and updating. I’ll probably start off with a smaller story since this one is getting a little long. I’ll try to keep it on the regular, though (this is assuming anyone will actually READ my stuff). Work schedule, life demands, that flitting and unreliable thing called inspiration . . . Y’all know how it is.

In the meantime, ummm. . . Not really sure where to go from here.

My inspirations???

Most definitely Crazygurlmadness to start, like that is one talented lady right there, Lyxie, of course, and sawyerzelda have influenced me the most. Among many others, my favorite fics are (almost exclusively LoZ) Fracture, by Darcie11, white eyes, by Perfect Soldier 01, and the Carnival by Miss Maudlin. Just to name a few.

As for professional authors/bands, hmm, let’s see. . .

•audiomachine—guys, guys, guYS: no matter what you’re feeling, this instrumental group has a song for it. Seriously amazing.

•I listen to a lot of foreign music, but let’s chalk it up to BTS (Korean), SNSD (Korean), sonohra (Italian) and a Japanese rock band called SCANDAL.

•also: I just discovered them, but if you like the Legend of Zelda, there is a group on YouTube called Hylian Ensemble which does incredible covers of songs from the games. My favorite is the Requiem of Spirit, if anyone wanted to know.

Books have always been a huge part of my life, but again, I’ll chalk it up to Throne of Glass by Sarah j Maas, literally anything by Julie Kagawa, the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, and the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Not to mention The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and the Chronicles of Narnia.

And before you ask, YES, I am a twenty year old who reads books about talking cats. I know, all right? I KNOW.
