Resonance: The Spiralling Rose: In another universe, in another time, Ruby Rose fights against destiny to pave her path into eternity, and pierce the heavens above- perhaps, even create them. TTGL/RWBY crossover. Standards for Submission of Fics to Reactsverse Fics: As I tire of explaining why I cannot accept a submission for Reactsverse fics, I have decided to put up several guidelines and standards as to weed out those submissions worth taking a look at. I'm putting this up because, as a writer, I am also human, and do get bored of sifting through submissions. Please, before you submit anything, read this section. The submitter must have good grammar. It usually sparks alarms in my head when I see someone attempting to submit a fic to me who cannot be bothered to capitalise, punctuate or spell properly. If you cannot put the effort into making your writing look good, then I cannot trust that you put effort into making your fic of acceptable quality. The fic submitted must have at LEAST five positive non-guest reviews. Similarly to the above, a story with little or no reviews usually sparks off alarms in my mind. If nobody of at least fair repute can vouch for you, then why should I? Similarly, the story having many negative reviews is a similar warning sign for me to outright reject it. The story itself must also be of good grammar. If you cannot put the effort into finding a beta reader or using a spellcheck, then I cannot trust you can put effort into making a story worth reading. The story must lack any of the usual badfic warning signs: Lack of a decent summary, bad grammar and so forth are all signs that I will likely be wasting my time if I attempt to read your story. If you wish for others to put effort into spreading your work's quality, then put some effort into making that work worth talking about. OC Fics are subject to instant rejection and close scrutiny should they not be rejected. OCs have a not-unjustified reputation for being Mary Sues who act as the fulfillment of the writer's fantasies of being better than the main protagonists and making them all fall in love with them. As such, I have incredibly strict standards pertaining to OC fics. If you are put off by this, I do not apologise- we encourage quality fics, not trashy wish fulfillment. Please be polite when submitting. On the Internet, where GIFT is in full vogue, it's surprising what a little politeness gets one. I will likely consider your fic at least worth a look if you seem like a decent person. By submitting, you forfeit any and all rights to complain if I criticise your fic. By allowing another writer to scrutinise and review your fic, you forfeit the right to complain should they criticize it. Although I cannot stop you from complaining, there is a certain level of infamy one achieves when striking back against justified criticism. I will accept crossovers (if the crossovers have links to current Reactsverse fics i.e. are crossovers with RWBY or Fire Emblem or any setting of a Reactsverse fic) to a limited extent. Any fic crossed over with the following will not be accepted unless there are extraordinary circumstances: My Little Pony, Red versus Blue, Halo, Call of Duty, Sword Art Online, Battlefield. If a fic breaks any of the above rules BUT I find the fic to be of sufficient quality, the rules may be waived. Do not count on this to happen, though- only one person in the history of the Reactsverse has ever successfully convinced me to do a chapter on their work despite somewhat faulty grammar. If you disagree to any of the rules I have set above, you forfeit the right to submit a fic for the Reactsverse. Simple as that. The rules are here, bound so I no longer have to take the time to filter out submissions. If you cannot take the effort to make your fic fit these requirements, I refuse to believe you can take the effort to appeal these rules to me. I reserve the right to reject any fic I get. This covers me for any other reason I shall reject a fic; i.e, not reading said criterion before actually submitting a fic. I cannot stress this enough, read the criteria before submitting, it helps me so much and if I think you did, it might warm me to reading yours because it'll convince me you've taken the time to do this for the love of the fic and not to use me as some sort of cheap advertiser.
