Ok, first time I've done this sort of thing.

1. I'm an old fart, on the wrong side of 60, and when I get to retirement I won't bother to keep track any more.

2. Married? Yes, to the same wonderful woman for close to 40 years. That being said, don't tell my wife as she is still 18 in my mind and eyes.

3. Six kids, all are now legal adults, the last one got lucky.

4. Love to read. That's how I discovered Fan Fiction. One of the kids said "Hey, Dad, you've got to read this...it's fun." And now I'm hooked.

5. My heroes are Jeff Dunham's Walter, John Wayne, Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, and Jimmy Doolittle.

6. I have a passion for old style firearms, flintlock, percussion, cowboy. They're fun to shoot and when shot with Black Powder (the only powder you should ever use) leave behind that wonderful odor of rotten eggs. After which the wife won't let me back in the house. Anything less than 70 years old I can live without.

7. I'm an Air Force Retiree. Spent most of my career around heavies (EC and RC 135s). Most of the aircraft I am personally acquainted with are in museums. Or the boneyard. God, I miss biplanes.

8. I personally think technological development should have stopped in 1919. World would have a lot less problems that way. Maybe even earlier. God, I still miss biplanes.
