Just to give you guys a head's up, I tend to be...slow with updates. Don't expect sudden, rapid-fire, nonstop chapters to be uploaded and ready to go every moment, alright? It takes time for us writers to...well, write and while we recognize that speed is good, we also (well, most of us, meaning those who can actually write) know that quality plays a part, too.

TL;DR: Don't ask me for immediate updates, sequels, new stories, etc. Let the muse do its job, ok?

To give you a recommended reading list (of my own stories), I'd say the following are pretty good, according to my standards:

Note that they're all oneshots/drabbles. I'm more comfortable with writing oneshot stories but I am starting to experiment with multi-chapter stories...

Ok, so let's talk about a little peeve of mine. Reviews.

To strip it down to bare basics, reviews are comments that readers make to the author as to how the author can better write future stories. That's reviews in a nutshell, or rather, what they're supposed to be.

However, some of you (main offenders being the newer members who just found out about the site) don't really leave enough information in a review as to how I, the author, can improve my writing skills. Yes, you like my stories, but what do you think I can improve on? What can I do better?

In all honesty, there is nothing more brightening than to see a nice little comment about my stories, but it's even better when you decide to help me out. Some constructive criticism is always nice.

Another peeve of mine is that y'all don't seem to have the basics of a good story down. Easy to remedy with this piece of advice: Jus' don't suck. How can you tell if your writing sucks? Simple:

A) Spellin' is somethin' you can't grasp to save your life;

B) Grammar is also a very foreign concept to you;

C) The plot's somehow found a way to drink nitrous oxide with a straw, and thus it propels itself at God-knows-how-many miles per hour;

D) The descriptions are lackin' that punch and they really shouldn't;

E) Your fandom's characters have somehow figured out that they're fake;

F) It's yaoi (guy on guy);

G) Somehow all the males in your fandom have become gay;

H) You have tendencies of makin' the fandom's characters a mite out of touch and have them do things they wouldn't;

I) A paragraph to you is roughly...five, six words at best;

J) A chapter to you is one sentence

And I could go on...

Bottom line: If your writing has any of the problems I pointed out, it sucks. That isn't as good as you think it is; rather, it's troublesome and really needs to be fixed ASAP.
