Author has written 7 stories for Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, and Cartoon X-overs. A couple of words about me In the Ranger fandom, I'm known as Midnight Man or simply Midnight; my real name, however, is kept secret unless it is necessary. I'm a German born in late '75, this makes me one of the few successful continental European CDRR fan fiction writers. I've been a (closet) Rangerphile—and Gadgephile—since the show's first airing in Germany in January 1991, but it wasn't before early 2006 that I became actively involved in the fandom, and I'm an Acorn Café member since March 1, 2006, 12:00 AM local time (hence the nickname). It's the Acorn Café, by the way, where all my written works have premiered so far and will premiere in the future. Written works means ten stories of very different lengths and 30 song parodies that have been published until today. I'm a part-time Spinner (TaleSpin fan), too, but not half as die-hard as I'm a Rangerphile. Anyway, I was able to use my TaleSpin knowledge when I wrote my first "serious" fanfic, Too Huge To Be True, which was probably also the first full-blown Rescue Rangers/TaleSpin crossover ever. Most of my stories and all that will be avaliable here take place in a continuous universe, so reading them in chronological order is highly recommended. I won't publish all my written works here, some of them simply don't fit here, but they're not necessary for understanding my universe, and most of them are exclusively available at the Acorn Café anyway. While my earlier works which came to this place had all been published at the Café before, I will try to simulcast newer stories at several locations, including the Café as well as FanFiction.net, at the same time. For those who like the Rescue Rangers and who want to look beyond the show itself and FanFiction.net, here are some links: The Acorn Café · This message board is the heart and soul of the whole fandom, established in an earlier incarnation in February 1998. Meet Rangerphiles from all over the world, talk about all things Rangery, and enjoy fan art and fan fiction. Don't miss it! The RRDatabase · Created by Matt Plotecher, the famous fan fiction writer (yes, he wrote more than the one story published here) and incredibly prolific Rangerphile from times past, currently only available as a static mirror, the RRDatabase collects creations of Rangerphiles, mostly art and fiction, in one giant archive. Oh, and I forgot to mention that you're always welcome to read and review my stories. |
