I'm a fifty-something-year-old woman, and I'm obsessed with the HP-world.

I started reading fanfiction in 2005 and am now trying myself as an author, too. As happened to many of us, book7 was out before I got more than one story ready for publishing. So it is AU now, but compliant with HBP--which I don't mind much, considering my disappointment with DH.

I'm not partial for certain pairings, but I need a good reason to believe them. Or any plot or behaviour for that matter. Hermione and Neville are not sports-addicts, Percy is not a joker, and Flitwick won't start growing to human size -- if you get my idea.

I love exploiting the magical world as JKR has developed it and love reading stories that do the same more than such where magic is mostly ignored.

I'm a native German but live in Finland, and when I'm not reading or writing fanfic, then I'm most likely sitting in a small cubicle in a huge office administering big software projects in an international environment where we all struggle with English as a foreign language and adopt each others' faults.

In addition to the fun, this project should therefore also improve my English skills, and, according to my wonderful betas this seems to work. I can recommend the method, provided you find betas who bear with you!!

So if you find a mistake, in expression, grammar or non-Britishness, feel free to point it out to me.

Also, as with all of us, I do enjoy feedback in the form of a review, and I usually acknowledge the signed ones with a reply!
