So, about two weeks ago, my laptop Died the Final Death. I had an undervolt in my power supply which in turn caused my CPU and motherboard to overheat. This wouldn't have been a problem, except that I've regularly overclocked my vid card to play WoW for nearly a year.

Combine an overclocked (and thus extra-heat producing) video card with excess heat created by my failing power supply, toss in me walking off and leaving it on, and you get a chain failure that I'm lucky didn't set anything on fire.

It did, however totally ruin my hard drive. A hard drive that had all my notes, partially written chapters, and story-boarding on it. One that I hadn't bothered to back up in nearly a year.

Yeah.

I'm done.

All stories in process are canceled. I'll probably be removing most of them in the near future. I frankly doubt that I'll be doing any more writing, but there's always the off chance that it might happen sometime in the far-distant future.

Never been drunk before, but tonight looks like a good night for it. Wonder how long I'll still have a job with this joker getting re-elected.

Every time I think I've figured out just how stupid my fellow Americans are, they go and prove me wrong.

I'm hungover and still annoyed. Alcohol, I've decided isn't the answer. Shame. In any case, here's a quote for you. Take from it what you will.
