The typical Gamer story has a character suddenly become an RPG character. Their body becomes defined by stats, quests and the vaunted Gamer's Mind. This is not one of those stories. Tonight, Jaune Arc joins the Hunt.

Yang wasn't used to leadership, but she wasn't going to accept Ozpin's suggestion of mandatory rest either. Not when it meant losing her spot on Team RWBY. If she had to lead a rookie squad of police officers against the White Fang to prove she could still fight, then so be it. Too bad no one told her the VSPR was made up of Vale's worst criminals, many of which she knew by name.

It turns out that Izuku is not quirkless… not that anyone believes him. With the help of his Gamer quirk and his own sharp intellect, Izuku sets out to prove that you don't need to be born powerful to become a hero. Upgraded to M so I don't have to worry about profanity.

Jaune had no interest in Ozpin's latest training initiative, especially when it pit boys against girls across Beacon. Cowardice or not, he intended to hide and wait the whole thing out. Leading the male alliance wasn't part of the plan, nor was becoming mankind's final hope. He was a coward, an idiot and a weakling. It was just a shame no one would believe him when he said so!

A little bit of misdirection was needed to coax Naruto into Jiraiya's infamous three-year training trip... but was this really the kind of 'training' that was supposed to happen? Rated for language and possible situations later on.
