Hi there, I'm Charlotte: a 21-year-old soon-to-graduate media student from Wales, UK. I've been writing fanfic since about 2011, and reading it for much longer. There's been such a massive gap in my fanfic reading and writing, though because there were a couple of instances where I was made to feel that fanfic was something 'weird', 'uncool' or 'sad' so I felt a bit embarrassed; I kind of moved away from it because of that. However, I'm over it. I'm back and ready to write.

My main three loves are Torchwood, Ashes to Ashes, and (most recently) Orphan Black. I've adored Torchwood since the second I started watching it years ago, and my currently my only fics have been Torchwood! (Janto - Jack and Ianto - are my ultimate OTP). I began aiming to write a novel-length Torchwood fic a few years ago (it's called 'Vermin on Cargo Docks', it's still on my profile so you can read it) - I wrote about 8000 words and then just kind of... stopped. It was a Torchwood/Sherlock crossover. Now my ideas are slightly different, I've matured a hell of a lot in four or five years since I last wrote it, and my writing has improved (I hope) so I'm going to edit and rewrite it. I'm most likely going to take out the Sherlock section and just leave it at Torchwood, since Sherlock isn't really amongst my fandoms at the moment so I don't particularly fancy writing it! The old one will stay up on my profile though; I'll just upload a shiny new re-written version as I write it.
