Por si les interesa saber no me llamo Marina. Soy joven, no mucho, tengo mi experiencia, pero 26 años aún es joven. Soy periodista y trabajo en un periódico de poca monta, pero agradable a mis convicciones (pero como mi nombre aparece en la publicación a veces, no puedo decirlo aquí; si de verdad desean saber, les puedo decir mi primer nombre si me preguntan). Siempre he querido escribir, aunque artículos y notas periodísticas, pero ahora quiero ver si puedo hacer ficción (fanfic). Terminé con mi último novio hace un par de años y por ahora soy soltera y con un perro, Paquito, como mi único compañero de cuarto. Mis padres y hermana viven en otra ciudad. Mi hermano se casó y está de luna de miel, por lo que sé.

Trataré de traducir mis historias al menos al inglés (tengan consideración si me equivoco). Por si les suena muy pretencioso, aquí viene la explicación:

Soy muy noña, noñísisma...nerd, como prefieran decirme. Siempre me ha gustado estudiar, leer como loca, ver documentales, hacer investigación, observación, aprender idiomas, ver cine de arte, escuchar música que algunos llamarían extraña. Pero no se confundan, jajaja, también tuve adolescencia y claro que canté al ritmo de los Backstreet boys y me colé a los antros con 15 años de edad. Gracias a mis amigas, mis queridas mujeres que me llevan por el camino de la perdición de vez en cuando y se divierten a mi lado y con paciencia a pesar de mi ñoñez, conozco la vida nocturna y fiestera.

En fin, regresando a que soy ñoña, en mi búsqueda por practicar inglés, y no teniendo con quién practicar, ya que mi único compañero de charlas en otros idiomas era la televisión, decidí leer en inglés. Todo lo que pude. Había comenzado por Harry Potter (sí, también soy fan de Harry Potter, aunque no planeo hacer un fic del libro por el momento, sólo Twilight) por mi desesperación por saber el final de la saga y no poder esperar a que llegara el libro en español, me compré el libro. Fue fácil leerlo y de ahí comencé a leer libros que pudiera conseguir en inglés, "El exorcista" entre otros, pero era más fácil encontrar los Best Seller del momento en inglés así que me topé con Twilight , que por Dios perdónenme, pero no había escuchado nada de él. Mi hermana me dijo que ella quería ver la película así que me explicó que se trataba de vampiros y toda la trama. Yo amando los vampiros (sí he leído demasiada literatura acerca de lo sobrenatural y claro que los clásicos como Jane Austen, Brontë...) dije claro que lo leo. Lo leí y mi amor por los vampiros y mi naturaleza romántica que aflora de vez en cuando pero con fuerza, me hicieron adorarlo y no pude soltarlo hasta que terminé la saga en 2 semanas.

Yo no sé cómo le hice, pero lo leí sin parar, y después lo leí de nuevo, y de nuevo y... No pude conformarme con sólo eso y ya les como ya dije que adoro investigar, busqué todo lo que había de Twilight y me topé con este site. Dios mío, no he podido parar de leer, hay tantas historias tan buenas, y me entró la curiosidad por escribir una propia. No sé si pueda compararme con los maravillosos autores que he encontrado pero espero llevar, al menos, algo bueno a alguien.

Así que en nombre de la práctica de mi lengua extranjera, trataré de traducir mis historias.

Soy Team Edward, por si se lo preguntaban

Estaré publicando mi primera historia al fin de éste mes o principios del que sigue, ya que me asignaron a un reportaje de campo en un lugar lejano a casa, así que sólo he podido seguir algunas de mis historias favoritas, pero no escribir nada más. Ésta historia tendrá unos quince capítulos, será probablemente T,al ser la primera, y será de humor. Se llamará Mundo al revés y este es el resumen:

AU, AH, Canon, T, Humor, romance. Bella Swan y Alice Cullen no podrían tener menos en común ni sus vidas ser menos ajenas. Bella quiere Edward, quien parece no quererla, Alice quiere al hermanastro de Bella, Jasper, y Jasper a ella. Todo podría resolverse fácilmente, ¿no? Excepto que un hechizo hace que Bella y Alice cambien de cuerpo y la confusión empieza...

Aguantes conmigo. Estaré publicando cada semana o cada dos, ya que también debo traducir

If you´d want to know, my name is not Marina, it´s a pseudonym. I´m young, not so much, I know better, but 26 is still young. I´m a journalist and work for a modest news paper that suits my values (hence I can´t say mi name, since it appears in the paper sometimes; altough, if you´re really curuios, I coul tell you my first name if you ask). I´ve always wanted to write, albeit articles and notes, but now I want to try fiction (fanfiction). I broke up with my last boyfriend two years ago, and know I´m single with Paquito, my dog, as my only roommate. My parents and sister live in another city. My brother is married and currently lost honeymooning.

I speak english fluently so I´m going to try and translate my stories to at least english (be nice if I make humongous mistakes). If you think I´m pretentious for doing so, let me explain:

I´m so lame, super lame, dull...nerd, if you please. I´ve always liked to study, read as a mad woman, watch documentaries, do research, observation, learn languages, watch art cinema ( I don´t know if I have it right), listen to music that some would call "weird". Don´t get me wrong, hahaha, of course I had my adolescene and of course I sang to the rhythm of the Backstreet boys and snuck in to clubs with only 15 years old. Thanks to my friends, my lovely women who always see for me to turn to the path of debauchery from time to time, and who and have fun by my side and patience despite my nerdiness, I´ve known the night and party life.

Anyway, going back to the fact that I´m so nerdy, in my quest of practicing my english, and with the television as my only chat partner, when foreign languajes are involved, I decided to read in english. As much as I could. I started with Harry Potter (yes, I´m also a HP fan, altough, for now, I think I will only write Twilight fiction), due to my impatience to know how the saga would end and could not for the life of me wait for the book in spanish, I bought it. It was easy, I read fast, and the on I started to read as many books in English as I coul get, like "the Exorcist" and such. Tough I soon figured out that recent Best Sellers were easier to find in that language, and that´s how I stumble with Twilight. So forgive me God, I had never heard of it before. My sister told me that she wanted to see the movie and also explain to me the argument and that it was also a Vampire´s book. Me, with my love to vampires and having read enough supernatural literature as well as the classics, like Austen, Brontë, I told myself of curse I will read it. I read it and my love for vampires and my romantic nature that sometimes blossoms with odd intensity, made me love it and could not tea myself apart from it for two weeks that it took me to read the entire saga.

I don´t know how I did it, but I read it nonstop, and then I re-read it, and re-read it and...I couldn´t content myself with just 4 books. So, me and my nerdy self and our love for research, started to track every last bit of information about Twilight and that´s how I found this site. Oh my, I could not have stop reading ever since , there are so many great stories, and my curiosity picked and tought about write one myself. I don´t know if I could be compared with some of these great authors arround here, but I´ll try at least to give you people something possitive.

So, in behalf of practice with my foreign language, I´ll try to translate my stories.

Now you see how I´m such a bore? I hope to start soon.

I´ll be publishing my frst story at the end of the month or startesr of the next, since I was assigned to a report investigation far from home and have only been able to follow up some of my favorite stories. This first story will have about 15 chapters, will be rated T since it is my first, and will be humor. It is named World upside down and here is the summary:

AU, AH, Canon, T, Humor, romance. The lives of Bella Swan and Alice cullen couldn´t be more different, or so they tought. Bella wants Edward who seems to be indifferent, Alice wants Bella´s step-brother and he seems to like her. Everthing could be solve easily, right? Except that a spell cause Bella and Alice to change bodies and the confussion begins...
