WHO i am: i'm your not-so-average southern belle. i'm a proud american and was born and raised in the hellish heat of georgia summers (seeing as i hibernate during the winter). i prefer tennis shoes over heels, jeans over skirts, and being covered in georgia red clay or pencil lead over makeup. my username comes from my two-faced personality. anabasis is an auto antonym, which is a word that has two meanings that are opposites. the word mainly fits me because, depending on who i'm dealing with, i'll either bolt at the first opportunity to hide in a corner or turn into a complete tyrant and promptly kick your teeth down your throat.

WHAT i do: doodle on every grocery list and scrap of homework i've every had. read manga instead of those self-help books everyone thinks i need. write fanfictions instead of those twelve page long assignments that i should have completed two weeks prior. roleplay instead of drawing, reading, or writing. i also have a nasty habit of forgetting to pillage before i burn, which would explain why i'm so poor...

WHY i do it: because, honestly, isn't it easier to tell the world to 'shove it' than try and deal with the daily grind and the idiots you encounter throughout it? all my forms of art are simply a way for me to express myself where i don't have to worry about being judged by people i'm forced to be around every day of my life. though it is a bit difficult to give the world the finger while trying to type up a story or sketch one of my characters.

HOW i got started: with writing? my mom's side of the family is full of writers so i guess it comes naturally. drawing? an overactive imagination and a need to escape reality. manga? anime. anime? i saw an episode of wolf's rain followed by an episode of inuyasha one night while watching adult swim (if you don't know, don't ask) when i shouldn't have. yaoi? interesting story there, well it- *cough* anyway. roleplaying? i read the warriors series and when i googled their website i found a roleplay site for the books. i've been addicted to rping ever since, even if i don't roleplay warriors anymore.

what i LOVE: sweet tea, sunflower seeds, honeysuckles, drawing, writing, reading, manga, anime, yaoi, country music, rock music, dubstep, my country, roleplaying, and my closetful of bishies.

what i HATE: hot tea, annoying habits, ignorant people, eraser bits, rap music, pop music, haters, your mom (joking.), the british accent (not joking. no offense.), and when people open my closet and let my sex slaves escape.
