Author has written 18 stories for Degrassi, Once Upon a Time, Maria-sama ga Miteru, and Strawberry Panic!. Much to my surprise, I apparently don't even have a profile yet. How to change that? About me: I'm a digital artist and writer honing my skills through fan work. Think of it as artistic unschooling - I work on things I could never actually commercialize (forget E.L. James for a moment, she is one in ten bazillion, and I can't say I can criticize her for finding a way to make her fanfic profitable even if I can criticize the misogyny and abusive elements present in 50 Shades of Grey). I do this in the hopes that I'll one day be good enough to make writing and art my career. For the time being, it's more about feeling like I'm doing *something.* Interests: Digital painting, drawing, comic art in general, writing, poetry, illustration, Tarot, the occult, past lives (particularly kin lives), gardening, magic, etc etc. Canons and Pairings I Read About Anime: Strawberry Panic (the dub-con elements of this series disturbed me, but I can appreciate a fanfiction that addresses those things and does something with them), Utena Books: Harry Potter (although I am not versed enough in that universe to write about it), Twilight (it leaves much to be desired but has some of the best femslash) TV: Adventure Time (particularly Bubbline), Degrassi (particularly pre-season 13), Legend of Korra, Once Upon a Time, Orphan Black, Worst Witch (again, it was a book series first, but I'm only familiar with the show and movie) Pairings I like: Bubbline, Hollstein, Cophine, Swan Queen (on occasion I can get into this one), Rubelle, Ethel/Mildred (Worst Witch), Ethel/Drusilla, Korrasami, Paily, Emison. Pairings I don't like: McGonagall/any student, Snape/any student, honestly any Hogwarts professor/any student unless *maybe* it's a time-travel thing and even then, Voldemort/anyone I'm expected to see as his "soul mate" who heals his wounded heart, Fiona/any guy including Adam, Rumbelle, Hikari/Yaya (I can't see that relationship not being dysfunctional as hell), Emily/Talia, Makorra. I'll read stuff not on these lists if they're compelling and interesting. |
