When the two of them start running into each other- literally- on a regular basis, they need to figure out how to navigate their new roles.

Picks up where season 5 ended, diving head-first into the burning questions - Will Marlo end Andy & Sam's honeymoon phase? How deep does the corruption in the Toronto PD go? Set after Season 7. Amy is working for Ahmed and gets off her balance when she gets some unexpected news and needs to make some serious decisions. How is Ty going to cope? Life at Heartland continues - Jack and Lisa try to work out a way to make their marriage work and Lou tries to help her sister. The family needs to face tragedies that life forces the living to put up with.

The story is a sequel to my previous story, Four Months. Three months have passed since Ty left Amy in Europe. Now everyone is back in Hudson, dealing with new lifestyles, jobs, and love interests, and a need to figure out what is most important to them. They must discover for themselves if achieving all of their goals in a professional life is worth losing the love of their lives.

This story is an alternate version of where se7ep18 leaves off and explores the months long journey in Europe and beyond after Amy has left her home in Alberta to take advantage of a new business opportunity, and Ty is struggling to make the best of his time at home on his own.
