An accident in Potions sends Draco and Hermione to the past where they meet a couple much like them. Hermione/Draco, James/Lily. Written before "The Half-Blood Prince," AU after "The Order of the Phoenix."

It was just a dare. One stupid little dare, and now I was stuck with this pining feeling in my stomach, for him. I laughed bitterly to myself as I wondered if I could possibly have the same affect on him. It was stupid of me. Little did I know...I did.

As the war has ended, the students have returned to Hogwarts. Hermione Granger has realised things are not to be the same. Pushed aside by the people she called her best friends, who can she turn to, to help her when she hears some dreadful news?

Hermione enters her sixth year at Hogwarts and is shocked when Dumbledore announces that she and Draco will be working together throughout the year in order to perform duties similar to that of Head Boy and Head Girl. Let the fun begin.
