Hello everyone!! I'm midnightStar448 (I'm choosing not to give out my real name.)

I'd love to be an author one day (no clue what genre...fantasy, sci-fi, realistic, historical, everything!)

Reading is one of my favorite things to do...ever! I also love to write. I'd love to say I could draw, but I can't so there!

I am BRAND-NEW on this site, though I've been writing fanfics for a while. I am totally open to hate-reviews, constructive crit, whatever. In fact, I appreciate it as it makes me a better writer! I'd also be flattered if any of you were to drop me a PM!

I love to read and write fanfiction, even though I currently only have two stories up. One of my favorite genres to read is Pirates of the Caribbean and I plan to write a fanfic in that genre as soon as I figure out what I want to do. I'm thinking a prequel on Jack or Gibbs' histories, or maybe something about AnaMaria. Just so y'all know, I won't be writing anything about the events 20 years after AWE because one of my FAVORITE fanfics ever (Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder by the lovely lateBloomer04) is exactly what I think should happen after AWE.

I've also put up a Giver oneshot about what happens to Jonas and Gabe after the end of the book. I actually wrote this as extra credit for school, but, hey, it counts as fanfiction, so I put it on here.

I'm also REALLY obsessed with His Dark Materials (Golden Compass and sequels) right now, so I'm working on a fanfic about what happens to Lyra post-Amber Spyglass. It's called Moving On Into the Darkness. Please excuse the lame-o title. I thought it was clever, like she's moving on from Will, but there are more adventures and danger to be had. It's basically about Pan and Lyra going to the far north to find that the witches are fighting the bears. I haven't decided over what yet. :/

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE HP, but I have NO ideas for fanfics at the moment, so when I do, expect some HP stuff to crop up on this site! My lovely friend RoseyPoseyPie has some awesome HP stories up, too, if you want to check those out.
