Fitzgerald Grant is the COO of an architectural firm and Olivia Ballard is his executive assistant. When Fitz's plans for an important weekend retreat go awry he asks for Olivia's help to save an important business deal. When Olivia agrees to join him, sparks fly between the couple. President Grant found out about Defiance just before an international crisis begins and it's left his relationship with Olivia Pope in ruins . Since going their separate ways, Olivia has thrown herself back into her work. Though pride and pain are ruling them both and trust is shattered between them, can they truly forget what they once had and go on with their lives apart?

This is a continuation of the S3 Scandal Finale. This story is an attempt to try and capture the true love between Olivia and Fitz and my hopes of them each working through their own demons. It also represents them finding their way back into the light. I hope you enjoy:)

Fitz's Presidential campaign is not going well, so Cyrus calls in help from Olivia Pope. Only this time, it isn't love at first sight because Fitz and Olivia have met before. Even after ten years apart, the damage from their previous relationship lingers and they will have to get beyond their past if there is any hope of a future.
