However, when Mordecai finds that juggling work and caring for his little sister is hard, he gets Margaret's help to give him a hand. Soon enough, they find themselves becoming closer. An unfortunate run-in out in the woods one night with someone who was thought to have been long gone leads one character to his downfall, and the other racing to save him. Unbeknownst to him, with his niece by his side, secrets will be revealed and old feelings will get unearthed—ones that may change perception of him forever.

It's Bensons birthday and after a night out for a celebration, the gumball machine is found unconscious on the road. Instead of bringing him to the hospital, Mordecai takes him back to the park and looks after him. But Benson dies and Mordecai must find a way to bring him back. MxB.
