"What Evil Lurks"

The Bitten by Fantasy girls want you to visit the land of darkness and terror. Write us a one-shot placing our beloved characters (or even the beloved minor characters) in a gruesome, mind-bending, nightmare-inducing horror story. We want it dark, gruesome, and scary. You can use any scary person, creature, or thing. If you must have fluff, mind this quote from Mimi:"Fluff is okay, as long as it doesn't take over the story." That means, you can have fluffy moments, you need them sometimes, yeah? But don't overdo it to where it isn't a horror story any more!! We want you to make it so that we are unable to sleep at night after reading! (YIKES!) Also, lemons are allowed, but please note-- they are not necessary. I mean, sex isn't scary... well... *giggles* maybe certain types of it are... *cackles wickedly* But not the kind of scary we're looking for!

2. All entries MUST BE BETA'D!!! If you need a beta, check out Project Team Beta, or ask around the fandom, there's loads of people who'd love to help you out! Please never any Incest, Pedophilia, Bestiality, or Rape. No one wants to read that, trust me.

3. Stand-alone one-shots only, please. If they are a continuation from a previous story, they will be disqualified. If you would like to continue the plot line of your one-shot, please wait to do so until after the winners are announced. Failure to adhere to this request will result in disqualification.

4. There is no age limit, besides FFnet's 13+ limit. But if you are under 18, please please PLEASE keep it T rated. Mimi says it's doable, play with it. *giggles* Oh, my dirty mind.

5. Word limit is from 3,000-15,000 words.
