Despite his fundamentalist Vulcan parents, Velek has big dreams of being an actor. The only dream Mavis has is getting the hell off that swampy V'tosh ka'tur colony world. A chance meeting sets in motion the adventure of a lifetime for the two misfits, leading them to discover the difference between who they are and who they want to be.
