Favorite books: Pride and Prejudice, Emma, A Tale of Two Cities, Crime and Punishment, Jane Eyre, The Eyre Affair

Favorite movies: The Lord of the Rings, Shakespeare in Love, Love Actually, Braveheart, Gladiator, Persuasion (still haven't found a Pride and Prejudice adaptation I really like).

Favorite TV shows: House, Grey's Anatomy, The Amazing Race, The Simpsons, most cheesy game shows (what? I've got a lot of time on my hands)

Movie most looking forward to this year: Atonement

Interests: Reading, working with horses, riding, playing piano

This is my first time writing anything since I was about ten and wrote Animorph fanfiction just for myself. I'm not terribly confident about my work, but I figured I might as well post as not. I've been reading Jane Austen (who are we kidding, it's all Pride and Prejudice fics out there) fanfiction for a few years, but have just now decided to venture one of my own. Mr. Knightley is my favorite Austen hero. I'm looking forward to traveling to England for the first time next summer for school and being able to see some of the places I've been reading about for years.
