The powerful Network decides that Friendship is Magic has missed its target demographic and needs to be stopped. They order the cast to be 'retired', but Princess Luna does something drastic to save them. Wiped of her memories of Equestria, one of the cast begins to remember and dedicate herself to finding her friends and finding their long, lost, and forgotten home.
