NAME: "Mauri" (This is just my pen-name)
AGE: 21.
FROM: Originally from the great state of Georgia but currently living and attending college in
Massachusetts.
FAMILY: Mom, step-dad, 2 younger sisters and a younger brother.
SCHOOL: Presently completing my junior year of college. I'm an English major (big surprise,
right?)
LIKES: Writing, Shopping, Guys (hehehe), Dogs, Music, Driving around aimlessly,
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
DISLIKES: Obnoxious people, hypocrites, racists, smoking, Backstreet Boys
(not for reasons u may think), the color pink, cats, chickens (don't ask)
MUSICAL TASTE: I basically enjoy all forms of music if it comes from a true and sincere place.
However, I'm not too fond of heavy metal.
WHY I WRITE: Writing takes me to a different place. Whenever I'm feeling overly happy or
overly sad, I write to get all that energy out of my system.
WHAT I WRITE: I write mostly short fiction, prose and poetry. I do hope one day to write
childrens books, young adult novels or perhaps even regular mature fiction.
WHY I STARTED
WRITING FANFICTION: I' m not going to lie...Justin is my favorite. I love his voice, his style, his
charisma and lets face it...the boy is just too damn fine. I'm not
dillusional or fanatical but writing stories about him allows me to express
my teeny-bopperish side, I suppose (*SHEEPISH GRIN*)
