I feel like my real name doesn't matter much but you can call me Jupiter, or use my full name, really just call me whatever you want, including my original name. I'm 19 years old and am currently enrolled in university learning games design and forming a creative writing society, although the writing will be in my own time. I'm sorry if I don't really like to say much about myself as I don't really like people online to know much about me but if you ask me a question I'll most likely answer it so feel free. I will tell you some things about myself and why I'm here now.

Writing has been a hobby of mine for a couple of years, when I first started writing short stories in secondary school, but a few years ago I started writing my RWBY fan-fiction and a few months after I started writing a high-fantasy story called Lost Advent. After writing about half of my book, I came back to the fan-fiction to see how much I had improved but ended up re-writing the whole thing, starting the fan-fiction I am posting at the moment, Scarred, based around my OC team to change the RWBY story at parts to fix a few of the flaws I saw in the show, adding my own characters as well, mainly to help with my characterization writing skills. The main reason I've started to post stuff on here is to get feedback and make improvement that me and my friend, who reads these as I finish them, may have missed, or to see different ways of writing more effectively. All feedback is welcome, in other words, be as toxic as you like and I will still respond. I will respond to reviews in each new chapter from now on.

In Production

Scarred: Based around an OC team, including an OC side team, to focus on the darker sides of subjects that RWBY brought up throughout the five volumes, such as the mistreatment of the faunus, the white fang, Tourchwick's gang and finally, Salem's crew. I have changed the RWBY universe a bit to fit with the stories themes, such as small line changes to change some of the established characters slightly while keeping their overall character to some... bigger changes that I have planned down the line. The investment, Judy Apelsin, is a weapon inventor and mechanic experimenter, trying her best to create the most powerful and effective weapons she can for whoever she thinks deserves them, but mostly just to see if she can. The hunter, Artemis Titana, a bow user who lives on the outskirts of Vale with her family, hunting for food and to sell whatever she doesn't need to get by. The warrior, Vak Skye, an adventurer and spear fighter with questionable motivations and more questionable relations. And finally, the demon, a much more suspicious person, not just for his past actions but for his background, his history with various events, his family, his ties, his motives, his personality and most importantly, his objective. Stick around as I try to turn the world of Remnant on its head with a different cast of character and closer relations to darker themes I feel weren't expressed enough in the show.

Future Plans

I'm hoping to do something more anime related for the next thing I write as I think there are a lot of anime that have great potential but ruin it by either not taking it far enough or by not going through with a lot of their ideas properly. Sword Art Online is one that I might have to have a go at in the future, probably adding a few original characters and making the story more game like than the main series as I feel that they fall behind a lot on that front. There are a few others I had in mind but I can't think of them off the top of my head so I'll come back and edit this do add them in if and when I remember.

Scarred:

The characters in Scarred are mostly based around religious figures, some obvious and some not so. For the not-so-obvious ones, I won't spoil them here as it may ruin some future story lines, although I will elaborate on some of the obvious ones to give more context.

JAVL (In order):

Judy Apelsin:

An axolotl faunus with the an intense interest for designing weapons and armour, as well as trying to make new, experimental tech like her partner, who she calls N9. So far in the story, all that's known about her past is that she attended Signal a year above most of team RWBY, making her the oldest in the year after being held back a year due to serious injury.

Character base: Not revealed

Colour: Orange (Apelsin is orange in Uzbek, and close to the same spelling as in Latvian.)

Semblance: Analysis. Allows her to analyse anything she looks at indepthly. This is limited to what she can deduce, meaning she can't figure something out without any clues.

Weapon/s: Duel revolvers X mini-shields

Artemis Titana:

Never having the chance to attend a combat school, not that she wanted to, but instead was born into a family of hunters, not to be mistaken for huntsmen, and lived outside the kingdoms with her brother and father. She doesn't really care about becoming a huntress, since she already considers herself one, but instead wants to see what she can learn from her time at Beacon, realising she is much less prepared than she originally thought.

Character base: Artemis (Greek Goddess)

Colour: Silver (Artemis represents the moon which can be considered silver)

Semblance: Ware-Ursa. The moon affects her body depending on it's clearness, mostly healing her aura and wounds faster, and when it's full, she transforms into a silver ursa, giving her more physical strength and allowing her to take more damage before going down.

Weapon/s: Wooden bow X whip

Vak Skye:

Vak is a bit of a mystery, not in the sence that no-one knows who he is but instead because no-one knows where he's been, leaving his family when he was young and only visiting occasionally to see his brother, no-one is sure where he disappears to when he leaves. Already having money and influence, Vak searches for knowledge, quickly learning different customs and stories to gather information for his hidden mission.

Character base: Odin (Norse mythology. Vak is another of his names)

Colour: Blue (Blue sky)

Weapon/s: Spear X machine gun

Luci/Damien Glas:

Luci is the biggest mystery of the group, talking about his past when people ask but not many people dare to. He was part of Torchwick's gang before he began attending Signal, trying to leave who he was in the past. After his name is revealed to the rest of the academy, he is paranoid that he might one day be discovered but doesn't know what to do if it does happen. He is known for having violent outbursts, seemingly randomly but clear once you look into it that most of them are during tough fights, seemingly changing his aura and semblance in an instant.

Character base: Lucifer/the Devil (Various religions. His name and attitude towards life in general)

Colour: Green (Glas is green in Irish, as well as representing his fighting style)

Semblance: Luck-of-the-Draw. When he wants something based on luck to happen, there's a 50% chance it will with a 50% chance it will backfire. Demon's Influence. Allows Damien to place small thoughts and suggestions in people's minds.

Weapon/s: Knife X pistol, spike X shotgun

Nixi:

Nixi, or N9 according to Judy, is an AI made by Judy while at Signal, although she was much more basic back then and has gradually been evolved, and the unofficial fifth member of team JAVL. She seems to have some shared secrets with Luci which she doesn't even tell Judy about. N9 stands for Number 9, being the shortened version of her invention name, Number 9 Version 1, N IX I.

Weapon/s: Metal arms with attachable knives and saw blades, as well as the possibility of more.

JADE (In order):

Jayce Chris:

Jayce is a simple guy, he doesn't hate or hold a grudge, not because he doesn't get angry but because it's what he's been taught. He wants to become a huntsman for that reason, to save as many people as he can, ally or enemy, while encouraging some level of anti-technology, although the reason for this is unknown.

Character base: Jesus Christ (Christianity, mostly.)

Colour: Still to be revealed

Weapon/s: A large T shaped mortar

Apollo Titana:

Artemis' brother of the same age. He is much more interested about what he can learn about the culture of Vale, and others around the world, as well as the origins and explanations of fables and stories. He is regularly seen reading and will occasionally pass books down to Artemis once he's done with them if he thinks she'll be interested.

Character base: Apollo (Greek mythology)

Colour: White (Apollo representing the sun, light being white)

Semblance: Guide light, focuses sunlight into a beam to set things on fire, as long as he has something to focus the beam on.

Weapon/s: Wooden bow, dust harp

Dalos Guile:

Dalos is a trickster who enjoys to mess with people, although only enjoys it if they find the fun in it too. As a fox faunus, he was discriminated against where he used to live, although some of the things they said were true. He is excited to see the number of faunus in Vale, making him feel more relaxed in some ways.

Character base: Dolos/Dolus (Greek mythology)

Colour: Not yet revealed

Semblance: Transparency. Able to become transparent when enjoying himself, turns everything in direct contact with his skin invisible as well.

Weapon/s: (Invisible?) Sword

Eyuno Miae:

Eyuno is a strict follower of the rules, although she is willing to let people take them back before it's too late. One example is Dalos, who stolewhen he was young, but she bought what he stole and gave it to him as a present before anyone could prove he took it.

Character base: Eunomia (Greek mythology)

Colour: Gold

Semblance: Not yet named. Allows her to manipulate paper that has her seal on it.

Weapon/s: Paper

Un-affiliated:

Bell (The Demon): An ex-huntsman turned gang leader. Uses sniper rifle X great sword.

??? (The Warrior): A mysterious voice that spoke to Vak and challenged him. Can seem to create illusions and copies of people and objects.

Ve and Ville (The Warrior): Vak's brothers, Ville with the semblance of creation, Ve with the semblance to give life.

Nevermore: A member of the White Fang who wears a nevermore mask.

Donnalee Highwind: The forth, and youngest, headmaster in charge of Vacuo. Mocks the other headmasters for failing when she can succeed without their help, actively avoiding getting help from them and not offering her help in return.
