A little about moi:

I reside in a cornfield in a mid-size city somewhere in the Midwest. No, not really in a cornfield, but I'm surrounded, man. :)

I have dark brown hair and green eyes, for those who care about such things. Share space with my other half and two spoiled furry babies (aka cats). Travelling is my raison d'etre. I sing fairly well and dance fairly terribly, but with great abandon.

Have discovered the awesomeness that is manga and anime fairly recently. I love Rurouni Kenshin, Fruits Basket, and have watched/read some Saiyuki. Am currently reading Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. Any recommendations for what I should read next will be considered and greatly appreciated.

Death Note has turned into an obsession, with a capital "O." I have a soft spot for L...but Matt and Mello are the true loves of my geekdom life. I prefer them together, but will read almost anything with them in it.

For M/M fans, SlvrSoleAlchmst1's Tristan Chord is a must-read. Seriously. You will find it listed in my favorites below. Go check it out, and and have copious amounts of tissues handy.

I love interacting with authors, and can discuss the wonders of Death Note all day.

Do I think Mello is hot? :blinks at the absurdity of the question: Hell yes. Hotter than the heat of a thousand fiery suns.

3) What would happen if six got one pregnant?

I would first have to assume that Gevanni is actually a woman in disguise.

And then I would have to get over the idea that Matt would dare to cheat on Mello. Then I would say, "Wow! That will be one damn good-looking kid."

4) Do you recall any good fics about nine?

I haven't read any fics about Wedy.

5) Would seven and two make a good couple?

Light and Mikami? Not sure that "good" is a word I'd use here. Plausible? Yes.

6) Four/eight or four/nine?

Matsuda/Aizawa or Matsuda/Wedy. Can't really picture either, sorry.

7) What would happen if seven discovered three and eight in a secret relationship?

If Light discovered Mello and Aizawa were together? He'd probably run to the the loo to barf in the sink first, then start laughing uncontrollably.

Dunno. That's what I'd do. Maybe I'm projecting.

Mikami/Matt. Hmmm. They would look good together, but Mikami is insane in the membrane, so...sorry, can't do that to my Matty.

9) Is there such a thing as a four/ten romantic fluff story?

Matsuda/L?! I'm sure there are plenty, but none I'd care to read. For reals.

Mello/Near. It would have to be Mello having a nightmare or something, because I don't see this pairing at all.

Besides, Near/anyone is just ICKY.

Light-more than likely. Wedy-seriously doubt it.

Wedy? Um, "I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar"?

Gevanni and Wedy are in a happy relationship (Okay so far) until Wedy suddenly runs off with Matsuda (why the hell would she do that?!). Gevanni, broken-hearted, has a hot one-night stand with Near (OH MY EYES) and a brief unhappy affair with Aiber (Strange), then follows the wise advice of Naomi (what is Gevanni doing talking to Naomi?) and finds true love with Mikami. (You can have him. Poor Gevanni, he's obviously confused).

The title? "Gevanni, and the Quest to Find a Piece of His Brain." or something similar.

29) How would you feel if Seven/Eight was canon?

Light/Aizawa? I'd begin to question Ohba's sanity, frankly.

I think he figured his time was short anyway, so he might as well swallow his pride and help Near defeat Kira in the only way he knew how.

Still upset/resentful that Mello was originally the one who was supposed to survive and catch Kira. :(

Sub. Dub is too distracting to watch, because we have to have the subtitles on anyway, and they don't match.

Anti-Misa. I just don't like her character. Although sometimes I did feel sorry for her.

Hmm, I've never figured this out. She was obviously upset when Mello was killed, but I don't think she was necessarily on his side, per se. She just wanted Kira caught; so whomever she thought was actually capable of doing so earned her respect (and subsequently, her assistance).

Beyond Birthday. Not really one of my favorite characters, LOL.

Most definitely. There is so much I would have changed, but in a nutshell: L wouldn't have died; Mello and Matt would have helped him defeat Kira--and lived to see it happen, alive and together in the end; and Near would have stayed at Wammy's. Or, more realistically, I would have had Mello defeat Light at Yellow Box. Or, had Mello and Near defeat Kira together at Yellow Box. See, I'm not asking for much. :P

Hell, no. Unless someone has a burning desire to see stick figure renderings of their favorite characters, heh.

39. Is Mello still sexy even though half of his face is scarred by burns?

Um, yes. I like him best when his hair is longer and messy--when he looks scruffier he actually looks like he's in the Mafia, heh heh.
