Christine Daaé is a talented, brainy (and somewhat oblivious) junior in high school. In her diary, she chronicles, among other things, her relationship with Raoul, and the mood swings of her strange music theory teacher, Mr. Destler.

There was no kiss that night below the Opéra, only a binding promise between two broken souls. Christine chose to spend a lifetime with Erik and must now get used to her confinement underground. EC Erik is dead. Christine returns to the Opera to keep her promise to take care of Erik's body, but the phantom is quite alive, and quite desperate to keep her with him forever. When all hope seems lost, will one man risk everything for love?

When she finds Erik dying, Christine simply has to heal him. Will the flames between teacher and pupil flare again, even though she is now a married woman?
